Habbers Janet and Sharon meet in person at Gratitude Cafe in San Rafael!

Sharon (on the right) fresh from her experience being a Kitchen Angel at the Living Light Culinary Institute

had gotten up at 7 am to begin the journey homeward to Southern California. At 10 am Janet (who lives 5 min. away from Gratitude Cafe, I know, I know it's tough :-) met her for a vibrant breakfast of sprouted buckwheat granola and lots of lovely sharing.

It's so much fun to meet in person! We talked and talked and celebrated the treasure we have found in RFR and the raw way of being.

We both had our hearts wide open and so much gratitude!

The cafe was hopping this morning - a huge gathering of some kind was going on - it looked like a team meeting or a coming together of the clan - this simply added to our exuberance!

After a lovely conversation and lots of hugs, Sharon was on her way for the next 7 hours of her drive.

She took a raw wrap to go  - smart girl!

I'll let her share anything else she wants to about her experience - but for now, we simply wish her well for a happy homecoming.

I'm so glad we got to meet.

Love and blessings to all,

I love this blog post!

To my fellow RFRers:  Please run.......don't meet Janet.  You find discover an instant friend.  Sweet, generous, highly intelligent, insightful, and delightful, all rolled into one lovely woman.  We hit it off instantly and connected in the most wonderful way.  We even drive the same kind of car!  ( it!)  I only wish I had had more time to spend with her but I know that I will make a point of visiting with her on my next trip up north.

As far as my take-out wrap is concerned, I made it home in time for dinner with my boyfriend, his son, daughter-in-law and his father.  They had pizza (yikes) but they all LOVED taking a bite of my wrap.  It's always so funny to watch people's reactions once they realize that raw food actually tastes good.  Boy, do we raw foodists have a wonderful secret or what!?!  Hopefully the good word will quickly spread.

A Cafe Gratitude is in the works here in KC Missouri. What a lovely way to meet a sister or brother raw rehabber!
