Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
Still going strong. Lost 31 pounds so far. Nothing but juice and smoothies. I turn 40 in 98 days.
The big news to report is that I'm no longer using my inhaler. About a year and a half a go I came down with something and still not sure exactly what it was - allergies, perhaps, but allergies had never been an issue prior to this. Anyway, I started having problems breathing. I would wheeze and cough and sneeze - to the point that there were many nights that I couldn't sleep. I'd just lay there waiting for that particular bout of wheezing to lessen.
After several rounds of antiobiotics didn't do the trick, it was determined that I was have an allergic reaction. To what, no one knows. Nevertheless, I was put on Symbicort twice a day. That's an inhaler for COPD, so it was really scary. But at least it treated my symptoms. I could breathe again. Atleast much better. I still would have a slight wheeze here and there.
Well, about five days ago, I was breathing very well, I decided to try not to use the inhaler and see what happened. I have done this in the past and usually after three days, the full onslaught of breathing issues returns and I'm forced back on to the inhaler.
It is now the fifth day without an inhaler and not only have the full slate of symptoms NOT returned, but I have no wheezing at all. No high whistle when I take a deep breath. I am taking several deep breaths as a type this just to confirm to myself.
WOW - I wonder how many people suffer with breathing issues that could be corrected by simply allowing the body to detoxify. My lungs are saying, "Thank you."
I guess that's all I'll report for now. Have a great day everyone.
