100-Day Juice Fasting – Week 3 {February 22nd – 28th}

February 22nd - Day 15

Breakfast consumed a large glass of water and make 8 quarts of juice, lunch more juice and a large glass of water. Hit the trail at the park walked 1 mile and ran 1 mile, returned home and showered. Dinner Large glass of juice and plenty of water, my detox symptoms have finally cleared and I feel so much better.

February 23rd - Day 16

Breakfast a large glass of water and medium glass of fruit juice, lunch a large glass of water. Exercised with a 2 mile walk and a 1 mile run at the park, returned home showered, worked for 5 1/2 hours and relaxed with a glass of juice and water. Time to log off and get some sleep.

February 24th and 25th - Day 17 & 18

Juice and water throughout the day, made green juices with a combination of kale, spinach, apples, oranges, pineapples, beets and celery, some light exercising and back to work.

February 26th and 27th  - Day 19 & 20

I have incorporated a few smoothies into my juicing fast and will be adding more possibly 1-2 days per week. The recipes listed below are from “The Painless Juice Cleanse: The Ultimate Guide to 30 day Juice Cleanse For Flushing Toxins, Reducing Stress, Curbing your Appetite And Losing Weight“ by Julia Thomas, you can find this book my week 2 post.

Oz’s Green Drink

Ingredients:

2 C spinach

½ C sliced cucumber

¼ celery

½ C parsley

3 carrots, peeled

sliced 2 apples, cored

¼ orange

¼ lime juice

¼ lemon juice

¼ C pineapple

Deep Green smoothie

Ingredients:

1 banana

½ C blueberries

1/2 C kale

Ginger root

1 T chia seeds

2 C coconut water

Energy Up Booster

Ingredients:

1 pear

½ C blueberries

1 C spinach

Ginger root

Chia seeds

1 C coconut water

 

February 28th - Day 21

Work throughout the morning consumed 1 quart of water, lunch Oz’s Green Drink and more water, beautiful weather today so made it to the park and walked 1 mile and ran 1 mile. Went to the market and grabbed a bundle of goodies more fruits and vegetables. Returned home showered, green juice feast, water now time to relax and get ready for Monday.
