Good Morning guys. I feel pretty great. yesterday was a rain day here on the farm and we spent most of it hanging out together here....reading and playing board games. Needless to say I didnt get on here. Yesterday food wise went well, I mean I wasnt 100% but I ate the most amazing vegan dinner, and I am pretty sure my tastebuds are stil surprised. The bulk of it was Quinoa, which I have never tried cooking before. Amazing how it turned out. Awesome. I remeber trying it before and not liking it, but this time..wow.

Anyways...I think I want to go on a juice fast this coming week. I am not 100% . I am going to do some research on it first. But so far from what I read , it can really kickstart you into this lifestyle because its like a reset button. A reset button on habits, additions ....everything really. If you can make it through. What are your guys thoughts? So were about to go into another weekend and my husband comes home tonight. I am so excited to see him, but then terrified as well. But were not going away this weekend, were staying home, so that will make it easier for me. Tonight for date night, were gonna do a fruit bar....lol...all different kinds of fruit on buffet. I am excited and happy that he understands, and that he is willing to be flexiable.

Todays plan....vaccum the pool, a whack of gardening, moving goats to a new home, mowing front yards...and a bit of a housework...laundry expecially. Lots and lots going on. Food wise...

Morning :water, vega with strawberrie, water...coffee

Lunch : vitality soup and carrot juice

Dinner : green juice and then when hubb gets home fruit bar.

Snacks : carrot juice, sunflower seeds , pumpkin seeds, almonds

Have you seen the free movie "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead"?  It's very inspiring and motivational if you are looking to juice-fast.  So many people have turned their health around by this.

And don't forget to drink water as well.........you need water between juice...it helps the cleansing process.

A juice fast is awesome.  From my experience, you will need a minimum of 3 quarts of fresh juice a day but more likely 4-6 quarts of juice.  It never hurts to drink more juice if you feel like you need more of 'something'.  Also be aware that at first your stomach is going to be sending you all kinds of messages/sensations....and that what that really is, is not hunger, but cleansing...it will calm down, go away around day 3 or 4.  Once you get past that initial hump...and you really need to stay the course and not wimp out....don't let it take over...distract yourself by saying.....let's see how I feel in 30 minutes, or in an hour....take a walk, do some work....anything....just don't let it rule you...and by day 3 or 4 you  should be feeling amazing!   If you have a hard time with it....go as long as you can...fasting takes some getting used to, both physically and mentally.  Kudos to you for taking charge of your health!  And best of luck to you..........juice fasting is a great thing to do!
