Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
My Premier Wet Grinder arrived Friday afternoon as promised. Yesterday was the first day I used it and I chose to make coconut butter.
The first try was using my dehydrated coconut chunks. Wet grinders and "chunks" don't work. I got out the dehydrated coconut flakes from the health food store. It takes the ingredients in increments and the amount of water you choose to add determines the consistency. I wanted thicker coconut butter for homemade raw Almond Joye bars.
It was an easy clean even though mine is not a tilt grinder. The stone wheels come out for a hot water clean and the 1.5 litre bowl lifts off for cleaning.
It does weigh nearly 30 pounds so this machine will have to find a permanent place on the kitchen counter. I am completely happy with my Premier Wet Grinder purchased at Hot Dishes (dot) com. It was free shipping as well!
Next will be cacao chocolate. I'll be making nut butters for Christmas gifts this year!
