Painful ear, and jaw, any drug free suggestions welcome

Hi guys and girls,

I think I have an ear infection, its getting worse, but I'm reluctant to use or ask for antibiotics, I had some Manuka honey 2 days ago, and I think it might of helped, I have used a solution to clear ear wax incase it is that, but as I say it is just getting worse, the other ear is sore too.

I have eaten more wheat than normal, could it be that, ( all raw isnt easy for me,at all).

Any suggestions most welcome, I have stopped the wheat and diary, but only today, so if it is that it will be too early to help.

Thanks so much, blessings

My doctor gave me this remedy when I was continually getting swimers ear. Plain white vinegar. Pour in your ear. let sit a few moment and then drain. Works like a charm, I use it everytime i feel it coming on.

Chop up some raw garlic, into small bits, put it in warm (warm enough to infuse, but don't 'cook' it), strain and put a few drops in each ear.  A natural antibiotic...and ah, I see someone else said basically the same...it works!

Yes stop wheat and dairy. Manuka Honey is great. Grapefruit Seed Extract is a natural antibitoic.

Nettit pot your sinus. Gargle with sea salt and water. Place warm against your ear. Garlic and oil is always a good thing.

I like what Glenda suggests here. I was going to throw in that somtimes I will put peroxide in my ear, let it bubble for a few minutes then let it drain out. I know you can use that for wax, but I have used it when my ear hurt. I am not sure if I had an ear infection though.

When I was young, I suffered a lot with ear infections. My grandmother would crush a clove of garlic & mix it with a tsp of slightly warmed olive oil and drizzle it inside my ear, then place a cotton ball to keep the mixture in my ear. Garlic is a natural antibiotic & the olive oil will help soften the earwax too. Not only did my ear infection go away in about three days but the warm oil feels sooooooo good when your ear hurts. You might want to give it a try?

do you also have a sore throte? Sometimes sore throtes go withsore  ears so put a scarf around your neck  when you go out, drink honey and hot water + 1 squeezed lemon....if it gets worse you might have to go to your doctor or at your local pharmacy gets sont homeopathic remedies....but be careful with your ears.

Or you could also have a sinus infection (there are sinus just above the jaws below the cheeks)....do you also have a runny nose?

I don't think that ear wax hurst, it make you deaf but usually it doesn't hurt.

If you have time go back to bed and sleep if you feel the need to.

Aspirin is mild too.
