Real Food Rehab

No rigid rules, labels or dogmas.... just REAL food, for your body, mind & soul!

Hello RFR'er!  Long time no post for me.  Life has been full of change and complications (moving to MI from WA and many scary health issues....).  It's time for me to get back on the rawgon.  I've been following a vegetarian diet and sometimes vegan, with some raw thrown in most days.  But, I think I need to be more committed to my raw-ness and need to return to the fold like the prodigal child I've been.  So, hello everyone and I hope to see you soon....

Oh, PS...I am walking again with the help of physical therapy and a 4 wheel walker.  I'm zippy skippy!  I can do about 20 toddering minutes before needed a break, but very happy with that.  Hope to be driving again soon.  Just have to wait for my left eye to heal from graft surgery and double vision (you REALLY don't want me drivin' right now!).  Once done, watch out grocery stores, here I come! (smile)

thanks for the lovely return welcomes!  MJ - I'm actually returning to the fold in MI.  I left Seattle. as fun and gorgeous scenery as it is, to return to the Midwest and Michigan.  I left MI's shiny lake shores in 1988 and have now gone full circle east to west twice, and then landed back where I started in the MW.  In the first few months, it was alittle strange...kinda like an outerbody experience, but then I started settling in and it feel like coming home now.  The best thing about it is my little sister and her family.  They are a godsend in helping me keep an independent life and not have to go to assisted living at the ripe age of 46.  I can't say enough on how wonderful she's beentesince I returned in dec. '10 crashing and burning on her door step ending in the hospital for January out for 3 weeks and backin until April coming out with parapaligia (couldn't move legs from waist down) wheel chair bound and needing her assistance to get to daily, if not double dr's appts. from may until August while she juggled 3 kids, practices, work, a hubby, and now ME!  Now that's an amazing sister!  I toot her horn where ever I can :)

Thanks all for the welcome.  I joined the vault immediately, so hope to see you there!

Hey, Stacey, I wondered where you were.  So you left the rest of us Michiganders behind.  Welcome back to the Mansion  : )
