I saw this recipe online and I thought... Hmm... this would make a good RAW recipe!  So, I adapted it from baked and fried to dehydrated. I think this would be great crumpled on top of a salad or on top of a raw patty!



1/2 cup dried adzuki beans, or other small red beans

1/3 cup whole grain buckwheat groats (not buckwheat flour)

Spicy Chili Marinade for Spouts or Mushrooms

This turned out amazing! I didn't measure anything but I'll give you some approximations of what I put in there.

SPICY CHILI MARINADE

* First Cold Press Olive Oil (I used about 2 Tbs.)

* Apple Cider Vinegar (1 Tbs.)

* Chili Powder Spice Blend (1 tsp.)

* Cumin (1/2 tsp.)

* Garlic Powder or Fresh Garlic (1 clove) if you have it (I used between a 1/4 tsp. and a 1/2 tsp. powder)

Rejuvelac, Fermented Vegetables or Both?

I've been having some stomach issues of late and I'm thinking I need to start working with some probiotics in my diet.  I've been reading on how to ferment cabbage and veggies and also how to make rejuvelac.  I'm just wondering, do I need both or can I choose just one and stick with that?   I'm still in a quandary.  Another factor is cost.  Which would be cheapest to make and upkeep?  Both seem fairly reasonable in price but I'm thinking the rejuvelac might be more affordable to me at this time… Continue

Raw Sprouted Lentil Cauliflower Curry with Sprouted Quinoa

I created this recipe this morning when I was craving curry.  Going to make it tonight.  Hope it turns out as good as it looks!  If anyone else tries it, please post your results below.

Getting Started

Hi everyone! I just spent a wonderful raw weekend with some friends of mine in Ft. Lauderdale.  We made raw smoothies and I made a raw buckwheat porridge for breakfast every day.  It was amazing and I'm feeling great.  It was so nice because he had a vitamix blender and the smoothies were so creamy and delicious.  I want to continue on this route.  When I got home, I went to the store today and bought a bunch of greens and fruits.  But...
