Day 5 Juicing-this sure is easier then I thought

I had a 2 different juices for breakfast. They came out very well. I had a juice for lunch and I had some orange juiced for snack. I am currently drinkng a juce soup. My this is tasty. I will probably finish the night with a fruitier juice so I feeel like I had dessert :) maybe an apple pie juice!

My nut milk bag did arrive in the mail today. It was a lot smaller then I thought but hey it did the job for dinner. I love how the juice came out. Ordering my Breville Thursday…

Juicing Day 2

Okay so I juiced yesterday and was real hungry so I made a savory juice and I was fine.

Hubby sad that I slept better then I have in a long time (how would I know I was sleeping LOL)

Today I was able to juice the whole day again.  It was suggested to me that I juice a butternut squash. Yeah well not much comes out of it but I juiced it with apples and added some pumpkin pie spice to it. Yum. The left overs I put over stirfried apples for my family. They loved it.

Back from my cruise

I started my cruise with lots of fruits for breakfast and salads for lunch and dinner. I was having a hard time eating PLAIN salads. I did grab an orange and squeeze it over the salad which helped. The fruit was well fruit. I was missing my fats. No avocados no oils and nuts here and there that I brought. I made it 2 days 100% raw. Leaving for my Cruise tomorrow-Raw planning done

I leave for my sisters tomorrow. Then we get up Monday and take a train to NY and then onto the cruise ship.

I figured it was going to be Ninja raw but I have packed some foods to help me.

I have chia seeds and a shaker. Hemp milk (not raw but a better choice) . Raw granola. Nuts,pumpkin seeds and some dried orgainc apricots.

My plan is to make chai pudding when we board and add nuts and hemp milk to it. Take my shaker to the buffet and pour it in a bowl. I will add…

Raw Vegan resturant meal-sorry no pictures :(

I ordered the zucchini lasagna with spinach and marinated mushrooms. It was good. Came with a mixed green salad.

Tasted the butternut squash fettucini alfredo that was good too.

Had an apple,kale,ginger,lemon juice before the meal.

Dessert. Well I tasted a few LOL. I had the Strawberry cheesecake -5 green thumbs up

Cruising on Raw- Suggestings?

I am taking my first cruise to Nova Scotia and since I have never cruised before I have a million questions. How do I eat raw on a cruise? My sister said thatI can get plenty of fruit and veggies at the buffet. The cruise line says IF I eat in the diningroom they can create some stuff for me. I can not give them any food I might bring to add to dishes. I probably can not even ask for smoothies. So what would you take with you?

The Rain the park and other things (yes an old song)

Today I started my new program. I bought a seasons pass to the park over the weekend using a coupon (Yeah) it is a 1.2 mile walk around the park. Plenty of resting areas for when it gets hot. Places to get water if I need more. Ducks to feed and paddle boats to work the leg muscles.

So 1.2 miles today and at the end of the walk a little rain for the ducks. I hopped into the car.

But they don't eat raw food!

My sister watches me make my foods when I visit occasionally tasting as I force it on her. Today she had a request.

Please bring some chocolate Euphoria and strawberries to make banana strawberry icecream with chocolate drizzeled on it. (I had to laugh).

Oh and could you please give me your recipe for guacomole.

She also informed me she is eating kale everyday and if I needed some when I came this weekend she had plenty.

lunch-big bowl of mixed greens(kale,romaine) with sliced veggies oil and ACV

snack 2 bananas I was out and hungry but did pass up all the Easter candy screaming at me to eat it. Darn chocolate bunnies,no wonder I eat the heads first!

lunch-whole foods with my son. A fantastic salad with fresh guacomole,and salsa. Accompanied by a berry smoothie (made fresh at the stoe)

lunch-a bag of salad and a banana I was on the road

Dinner a Bill Barlow salad from the pot with an oil and ACV dressing

Dessert- strawberry banana ice cream with chocolate drizzeled on it (Chocolate Euphoria)

 

I made a few dishes while I was here and they are marinading in the fridge.

Lost 4 lbs since starting on Monday!!!

Day 4 No Seeds,nuts or grains

Breakfast-yep the same smoothie it works I like it. Orange,spinach,chlorella, mixed berries (no strawberries today).

Snack-orange

Lunch romaine salad with veggies and O&V dressing

got home and you guessed it. I licked a few spoons of that chocolate euphoria.

Dinner a romaine based salad with a guacomole topping

I like to put my fat at the end of the day it helps me get fuller and sleep better.

went to Costco and didn't taste anything until I got to the fish and had one small sample so I knew the family would like it. (normally I taste most of the samples)

Had an orange on the way home.

Made a salad with romaine and radishes with zucchin and had a tomato basted dressing.
