Juice and a Burger!

Today I went out on a limb.  I found a recipe online that talked about making a "burger' out of the remnants of the juice.  However, I didn't like the idea of having to add eggs to make the burger bind together. Nor did the ingredients sound like they would POP much in terms of flavor. However, the idea of making a burger from the remnants stuck with me.

Anti-Inflammatory Soup That Seemed to Help Me :). And Some Raw Food Science :)

I wanted to share this recipe because I woke up yesterday feeling rottenly sore, and pretty sad about it, and found that eating dates seemed to only make the pain worse, because I kept feeling worse and worse up right until after I ate this soup :). Help with A Recipe if you can Please!

I ate at a really cute place called Silly's in Portland, ME this morning.  I had vegan french toast that was sooooo good!

Motivated

Almost 100 percent raw today :)  Sauteed some broccoli and mushrooms and put them on top of half a head of shredded lettuce...and then the 2 tbsp of carob powder and 1/4 cup of soy milk I use in my banana ice-cream isn't raw...but everything has been fruits and vegetables. Satiation, My Appliances, and a Recipe

Feeling Great :) Going Crazy With RAW WRAPS!! :)

Wow, I am really amazed at how much better I've been feeling today...Goodness me!! :)

All I've done is made maybe 60 percent of the food I am eating raw, and the rest is grains and cooked veggies... The grains probably are at least 25 percent...goodness.  I am more regular today than I have been probably all last week combined!!  I am cleaning out and I feel so much fresher!!! :)…

Hello Healing

Ahh, the now vacant area where my molar was but yesterday morning is healing nicely. A nice thick clot (that will hopefully stay there lest the evil monster that is dry socket rears is ugly head) and zero pain. I am pleased. 

I have been laying about visualizing the area healing beautifully surrounded-to my surprise- by a pink light (i hate the color pink). But eh, I'll roll with it.

Eating/Techniques/Improvements/Goals

This morning I was eating a most unfortunately SAD food (always vegan, of course, but still), and I decided to do my flavor memorization technique.  It's actually embarrassingly simple.  I just remember how the food tastes in my mind.  I immediately set down the food and didn't want it anymore because I could remember how it tastes and that was enough for me without all the gook and the calories inside my body.

Ah ha! So I found this on YouTube and I'm at work so I can't find the link unfortunately but I'll try to post it up later if I can!

Food Journal Day 11

Dinner last night I had salad. :)  Just couldn't update because I was gone!

Pain levels--getting there!!!  Last night and this morning I had more energy and less pain!!!

Also want to note that ulcerative proctitis has not been bleeding at all lately :)  Something good is happening!!!

Food Journal Day 9

Wow, I woke up at 2 in the morning last night, no idea why, maybe because I was stressed deep down because I knew I still needed to both brush my teeth and wash my makeup still on...I went to the bathroom.

Raw Cabbage Patties/Meatballs/Stuffing :)

Arthritis Update. :-/ Raw Chocolate Shake Recipe

Well, I don't mean to be depressing but I realized something kind of bad this morning.

My arthritis has been spreading.  I did not even really want to admit this to myself and I think that's why it took me so long to realize, but why else would I be feeling it all through my back.  It's not just in my hip and lower back as before, it's agonizingly all along the left side of my back now.

That's probably not raw's fault.  I've only been raw for 3 months, not even 100 percent…

Progress!

MUSIC IS THE HEART OF ALL LIFE!!

 

I'm listening to Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand and getting all excited.  I notice something about myself.  I can be sitting down, all tired, no energy, and a song I love comes on and, rather than be unable to get up I can NOT sit down!!  So I've been listening to, playing music all day.  Practiced for hours on my piano.  I would love to get super good and be self-taught.

 

I also kept the house clean!  Not a completely pain-free…
