Last night I drank maybe 1.5 cups of this really fancy beer, and that was it, as far as alcohol goes. :) My friends and I are classy and responsible. Okay, my friends are classy and responsible. So..... This morning I was feeling a little adventurous where my green smoothies are concerned :)
Usually I stick with the one I love because no matter what else I make, I always yearn for my same kale apple ginger smoothie.
This isn't really a huge change, but I know this will definitely be a keeper for me!!
The swiss chard made it creamy, almost buttery tasting & the pear and ginger combo blended perfectly...

I had a large mango on hand that was just perfectly ripe, so I decided to have my (so-far) favorite mango recipe for dinner. It's basically a combination of two recipes that I found on the Web: Kristen's Raw: Indian Mango Soup and Spicy Mango Ginger Soup I like it rather spicy; folks can adjust the amount of hot pepper (or omit it altogether).
