Day 4/30, my dream

I dream of stepping on the scale and having it be in the 150s. It's not so much about the number, but I just know what it will feel like. I dream of having a picture taken where I don't look at the circumference of my belly and sigh which is also good to get that weight off the belly because it's a strain on the heart. Day 3 and some insights

Today is my 3rd day of 100% raw (99.97% hehe) and I feel amazing. Not only because I'm over the stomach distress of a few poor dietary choices not so long ago, but also because I've been having some amazing insights!



I've set a goal for myself to get back to creating my daily goals/lists :-) I've fallen away from that and realized I need to get back on track. Things have a tendency to get away from me if I don't, so that is insight #1.

I was drugged I tell ya! (careful, this is long)

Woke up at about 4:30am with a stuffy head and couldn't breathe out of one side of my nose. Was able to go back to sleep, but then when I woke for the day, my hands were puffy. Thought back to last night and realized that I went into a drug-induced sleep right after we left a friend's house where we had dinner. On the ride home, I couldn't keep my eyes open.

Do Try This At Home ... Appropriate Emotional Discharge

Here is a little bit about emotional discharge and why it's appropriate and how to not worry if you're crying a lot because it's really such a smart thing to be doing. Particularly when cleansing with raw foods.



All the emotions have been kept neatly in place with overeating and eating one's comfort foods. Once that is removed, tons of emotions come up which have been waiting patiently there all along!

Good day and Raw Banana Pudding

I ate sooo good today! Wednesdays I have 2 classes that span from 1:25 to 7:10pm. I prepared a bunch of food in advance and stuffed it all into a bread bag. I am so proud of myself! I also made good progress on my painting.

Day #2 100% and 2 big blessings!

What a wonderful day it was. I haven't had a lot of FUN surprises in my life as of late, and wouldn't you know it, on day #2 I had two huge blessings?! Amazing, this raw life. 100% Raw For 30 Days - Day 5 - (Thursday)

It's weird to plan in advance and then change (update) my posts, but it's helping keep me on track.

reaction

i am having some kind of allergic reaction

and i am not sure what it's from.

it is acting just like when i tangle with nitrates

my criptonite

i actually go into a full blown allergic reaction

with the chest pains, throat closing up, extreme facial pain and blisters on my mouth

whenever i eat ate a cured meat like ham bacon sausage...

once i figured that out, i cut them out of my diet...

1 apple with 1/2 ounce of cheese and a handful of nuts

1 cup of coffee

1 Green Superfood drink

1 hunk of Raw Breakfast Crust, topped with coconut oil and a drop of agave

2nd cup of coffee (that's a cheat)

chia pudding with chopped apples, raisins and nuts

Rehab - Day 23, I Ate . . .

huge salad: mache, tomatoes, avocado, lightly sauteed onions, topped with olive oil, lemon juice and garlic

1 cup of coffee

chia pudding mixed with raisins and sliced bananas (too lazy to chop nuts today)

Sushi and sashi (which was a mistake, because I definitely got some wheat in the sushi, and my face is definitely breaking out--lesson learned!)

Feeling better and overcoming more challenges

Woke up feeling tired despite sleeping 8 or 9 hours. Woke up several times during the night and released more, I thought I got all the enema out but perhaps I triggered a bigger release that didn't care that I had to work in the morning but I'm feeling better now although the headache is still here but much less than last night. Work today in the office 8-4 then on call from 5pm tonight until 5pm tomorrow. Hoping to get some sleep tonight but who knows what will come my way.

Rockin' in the 120's! Woo Hoo!

Today, not only did I do a spin class at 5:15 in the morning and cycle up to 120 rpms (some of the time ; )... I also made it to my goal of being in the 120's! I am ecstactic! And I am grateful, grateful, grateful. Giddy and grateful. I feel great in my body and am elated to be enjoying exercise and spiritual practices in addition to eating well. It is a joy. The day started off late since my son is out of school for Veteran's Day.

Oops! Slept in...again!

I have gotten myself on this schedule of bed at 2 am and up at 10 am. I've always gravitated toward this schedule. Or bed at 1 am and up at 9 am. Just always has to be bed after midnight and a full 8 hours sleep. I don't set my alarm unless I have to get up early for something. I feel wonderful when I sleep this way, but I don't like it. What I LIKE to do, is get up early, get everything done that needs to be done, including meditation, yoga, working out, then go to work.

Day 2 Juice fast/feast...

I woke up tired, took a walk and had to drag myself most of the way. I did a juice feast (and smoothie) about a year ago and do remember being tired the first few days. I am going to do green smoothies, coconut water with green powders or spirulina, herbal teas w/ superfoods and even some master cleanse lemon aid because doing all juice is a lot of work.
