Changing taste buds, static scale

I've been kind of bummed that my scale isn't budging. Kicking it across the room doesn't count. I've lost maybe 2 lbs since going high raw (mostly vegan, gluten-free) a month or so ago and I'm not living on avocados. I have a looooong way to go and it's frustrating.

Day 15 of my "Jodi made me do it Challenge"

Breakfast-Smoothie with spinach,banana,strawberries,greenpowder,hempseed

snack clementine

lunch salad with hemp oil and hemp seeds,mixed lettuces,toms,broccoli slaw with no mayo stuf just the veggies.

Today Was a Good Day

Last week I made sure I had a green smoothie each day. I avoided meat the whole week and dairy most days but I ate lots of refined sugar and starch.

Today was a new day and a new week for me. I started with a liter of water, followed by a banana, a ginormous salad with herbs, romaine, spinache, radichio, cabbage, yellow peppers, red peppers, cucumbers, carrots and brocoli with some raisins, dried cranberries, walnuts, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.

Back home & back to RAW

I spent the last 10 days in Palm Springs, California for my new job. It was such a wonderful learning experience and I really enjoy working with kids (I can add nanny to my resume:), but at times the stress lead to extreme exhaustion and less than perfect food choices. Psoriasis is ruining my celebration

Yep- I should be celebrating. I am officially closer to weighing 200 lbs than weighing 210. I should be jumping for joy but instead I am miserable. I am having another bad outbreak with my psoriasis. It is happening every other week or so. I was in bed for 2 days and now I am sitting on the couch so I can keep a better eye on the kids. Trying to Plan a Raw Trip Home

I must be doing something right because the universe keeps blessing me with beautiful sleep while I'm on call. I wake up smiling and so grateful when I look at the clock and realize that I've slept through the whole night without even a phone call to wake me up. Thank you universe.

A Little Bump in the Road

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving, not even the slightest bit of temptation but then Friday I was with a client on a job and had lunch with him and his workers. day 3 juice feast and juice party with Dave!

hey everyone. today was another good juice day although now it is night and i am getting a bit peckish for food. i am downing some kombucha as it really cuts my cravings.

today's juices:

2 cups carrot/romaine juice with ginger

2 quarts romaine/celery/spinach/kale/parsley

Juice Feast - almost made a whole day :)

It just figures. Most days I am not even usually hungry and feel I subsist mostly on juice, but today I woke up hungry. Started the morning out with my all-time favorite cucumber/granny smith/celery juice. After getting home from church made grapefruit juice. About 2 hours later, had a carrot and sweet potatoe juice. Joining the juice feast today.

I am doing a 8 day juice feast. Starting today I will drink goji water and water with lemon.

Here is a menu of what I will be drinking throughout the week.

It is important to be organized while doing a juice fast. I have printed out my menu and I will hang it in the kitchen. Wow day 13 time just flies.
Breakfast-Kale, apple,lemon,banana drank part of it and was almost sick. Don't think kale and apple work for me.
lunch another half avocado guac over salad mostly cukes because I was not gonna have kale again
Dinner-salad again with a few pecans, raisens, and pumpkin seeds.
Water water
green powder and water.
