I've been kind of bummed that my scale isn't budging. Kicking it across the room doesn't count. I've lost maybe 2 lbs since going high raw (mostly vegan, gluten-free) a month or so ago and I'm not living on avocados. I have a looooong way to go and it's frustrating.

Last week I made sure I had a green smoothie each day. I avoided meat the whole week and dairy most days but I ate lots of refined sugar and starch.
Today was a new day and a new week for me. I started with a liter of water, followed by a banana, a ginormous salad with herbs, romaine, spinache, radichio, cabbage, yellow peppers, red peppers, cucumbers, carrots and brocoli with some raisins, dried cranberries, walnuts, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.
I spent the last 10 days in Palm Springs, California for my new job. It was such a wonderful learning experience and I really enjoy working with kids (I can add nanny to my resume:), but at times the stress lead to extreme exhaustion and less than perfect food choices. Yep- I should be celebrating. I am officially closer to weighing 200 lbs than weighing 210. I should be jumping for joy but instead I am miserable. I am having another bad outbreak with my psoriasis. It is happening every other week or so. I was in bed for 2 days and now I am sitting on the couch so I can keep a better eye on the kids. It just figures. Most days I am not even usually hungry and feel I subsist mostly on juice, but today I woke up hungry. Started the morning out with my all-time favorite cucumber/granny smith/celery juice. After getting home from church made grapefruit juice. About 2 hours later, had a carrot and sweet potatoe juice.
