Peek-A-Boo!

hi friends,

I am keeping it simple this season - being a shy little woodland creature ;-)

tonight as the rain is gently misting the land, I am indoors enjoying a lovely raw feast. I dehydrated some delicata squash then blended it with warm water, almond milk and spices to make a lovely autumn soup. Also made a delightful raw carrot cake from Penni's "Falling In To Raw" recipe book. I am grateful to be keeping it real and keeping it raw in every season.  I wish you all the…

Behcets disorder & raw foods

Hello- Does anyone have any helpful information on behcets and raw foods?  or autoimmune disorders and raw foods for someone who is suffering very badly and really needs help?  Regular doctors and RXs are doing absolutely nothing.  I would really love any information that can be passed my way.

Things are getting hectic at IUPUI!

Hello Everyone!

Things are getting hectic at IUPUI. In my classes, there is material that I have not studied before, but I'm doing well so far alright. I have to keep my promise not to let any of my brothers and sisters down. Please continue to support me because Whether I get a passing grade of A, B, or C, I'll be satisfied because I am going to pass both of my classes with either an A, B or C. So wish me luck!

Sincerely,

I downloaded the free e-book copy of "its easy being green from your site here, and tried the Super Smooth Breakfast shake and it was yummy.  Then the next day I had some papaya that I needed to use and I added that to the Super Smooth Breakfast recipe and it was delicious.  Thank you for sharing all of the yummy green recipes in this AWESOME e-book.

I love this site and all the encouragement and recipes.

Thanks for a great job!!!

Raw and Enemas???

Ok...just wanted to hear what others do.  I have a doc friend that said to do 100% raw, lots of water, and an enema every evening before bed....she suggested to do this for a full 30 day detox and great start to weight loss. Any thoughts?

Its FREEEEZZZZINGGG

So the weather has changed and its freezing here in Wales...luckily I will be moving to a warmer place next month this place is awful..as the heating is only in one room !!!....but it was cheap rent..now i understand why LOL).

PAXIL WEANING -- WEEK 4

HI RFR,

I had a rough patch this week. I was discouraged because I haven't made any sales this week & $8 hr don't cut it. However, my health is more important than ANYTHING so I'll have to press on!!

I have experienced NO side effects so starting Monday I will be reducing my paxil intake to 22 1/2 mgs. I know the omega 3, vit E & jnk supplements are working well because I have had no Zaps down the spine.

Be Blessed & go to church…

No clue where to start

I have been reading about RAW eating for a while now but honestly, I have no clue where to start. I do know I am more into Green Smoothies since I am not in a place where I can afford a Juicer. But beyond that, I am lost. Do I just eat a lot of fruits and veggies? LOL

HELP!

First day of Juicing Cleanse!

I'm proud of myself.....stopped at store and bought $40 worth of veggies/fruit to juice this week. Got up bright and early this morning, juiced a couple pounds of carrots, a couple granny smith apples, and a head of romaine. So far this morning drank lots of water, took magnesium, zyflemed, juice plus, now green tea.....I will be having 8oz of juice once the hunger pains hit me and then about every 2.5 hours today. we'll see how things are early evening and may throw in a salad w/ some…

DIVORCING THIS WAY OF LIFE......ENOUGH ALREADY....181 pounds!!

I was appalled this morning as I stepped on the scales to see I am almost at my highest weight again since being 189 pounds several years ago...Fall of 2006. At that point in my life I had come to realization that nothing in my life was going to change unless I changed, including my marriage.  I had been married for 14 yrs and was so miserable with my life. My son was about 7 yrs old and I refused to let him learn the ways of his father. God had put me in places that year that I needed to be…

Detoxing ?? Are these just symptoms of the body cleansing itself?

As in former blog I started back into RAW about a week ago (after being mad, seeing I had gained weight and then going off RAW and eating all that my naturopath told me not to eat coffee, chocolate, dairy etc.).  Anyway back on RAW and  just going straight to RAW, (before when starting RAW first did a 10 day detox).    Anyway some symptoms I am hoping are just part of detoxing is what feels like my BONES are aching in my legs, and the small of my back and in my teeth.  Anyone have experience…

Ready to get back to Raw!!

 {After going back to cook, my skin has aged/is less glowing & I've had a hard time losing those last few lbs.}

I haven't been really raw for a few years, and every since then everything I do, nothing works to keep the weight off. I currently work out 7 days a week for 1 hour per day, I…

Thankful for God, New Friends and Like-Minded Folks!

Once a month I host a healthy potluck at my house! I have been doing this for over a year now.  Its amazing when you become interested in others instead of yourself what can happen. The insights you can find if you open your heart and let others in is amazing! God's hand is everywhere if you just let Him do his work.  You take a few steps across the room to meet someone new and amazing things can happen.

This past month I decided to go to a new yoga class at my local fitness center…

Raw 'Field Trip'

hi friends,

I am checking in with my tribe here in the 'Hab - it's so good to know that you are here and that we are all doing this in our own wonderful, unique and miraculous way!

I just returned from traveling for a seminar. This was the first time that I've done air travel since converting to raw foods (2 and a half years and celebrating).

Not only was I in unfamiliar territory geographically, but was also in unfamiliar territory with the food consciousness around…
