It's official!

Hello fellow Rehabbers, this is my very first blog entry.. tadaaa!

I just kept saying..."It is only an hour"

I am on day 9 of my Juice Feast.  My boss of 4 years is retiring and today is her last day.  Her boss (the Big Guy) took four of us out to lunch today.  …..and……I DID GREAT!

I was full from my breakfast smoothie and I had two cups of tea at lunch and just enjoyed the company and the smells while telling myself that it would be over in a few minutes.  And indeed time went by fast and before I knew it I was back at my desk drinking my Carrot Apple Juice!  

WOW……Am I ever proud of…

Day 5 with no meat

I am watching Penni's 2 Pumpkin vids and it is making me wish I had my kitchen stocked to try some raw recipes. Whenever I look at all the ingredients to make raw recipies I think of just how much $$ it will cost to re-stock my kitchen (again). I guess it's just proof of how we have become so lazy in that we can just go in to a store and buy a premade mix and just add water or milk and bake!


One of her receipes reminds me of something that I wanted to get everyone's opinion…

moving Rawards, raw & forwards


 Well week 2 is underway.  I am so happy with last weeks changes and renewed opportunities to help myself  live with quality and  making this rawsome adventure a reality one meal, one day at a time !!!! The weekend I allowed myself some brown rice to go with my unstired fry.  Excellent.

 I am glad to share that all systems are "moving along" well  , if you know what I mean. Last time I had problems....

  This week on my goal agenda is to let go of morning coffee…

Raw with friends

I'm very excited that my roommate has decided to try adding more raw into his diet! It's soooo much easier to follow a diet or lifestyle when you have someone who's doing it with you. We have been taking turns making lunch and dinner, and it's awesome because the times I don't feel like "cooking" he will and vice versa. Hello again

Hi Everyone!

The past few weeks, I have not done too much for Raw Balance.

I've been very distracted because of health problems. I had a thermography with troubling results, now am in the limbo of waiting for more appointments, mammogram, ultrasound. It is so hard to wait. Salt lamps

Went out to find a gift for a friend yesterday and found one for myself!  Came across a Himalayan Salt Crystal Lamp!  New for me.  Anyways, it's beautiful (and a nice addition to my newly remodeled kitchen:).  When lit the bulb warms the crystals, which increase the release of healthful negative ions which  are said to  improve the quality of indoor air and your moods (it makes me feel good just seeing the beauty of  it too).  It sits on my new bow window sill and has given me the idea of…

Day 4 of ovo-lacto vegetarianism

I had to look that up on wiki. I knew I wasn't vegan but a vegetarian. Ok enough of the labels ;)


I am beginning day for and I weighed myself this morning. I have lost 1 pound since the last time I binged on way too much meat for dinner. I now weigh 377.6. My Beauty Regime

Woke up this morning and my skin looked positively RADIANT.  I love my new skincare routine.  Also I did something with my hair that I used to do all the time and I simply forgot about it until recent--oh my hair is shinier smoother sleeker since I've been deep conditioning again! :)  So anyway it's back to normal back when I used to deep condition regularly (it's got to be done otherwise I have a crazy, crazy mop :)  there's only one conditioner that works and unfortunately I think it's…
