Hi! I'm Back!

I have been away from this forum and the raw food diet for awhile, easily one year.  I feel terrible, my gallbladder has been flaring up on a regular bases now.  It makes me feel like I have the flu.  I get nauseous first, then hot and cold sweats, shaky and my blood pressure goes up.  I usually vomit at least once then I have diarrhea.  I take a pill for nausea, but it takes awhile for it to work, so I lay down on my bed…

Keeping it Up

I have the afternoon sleepies! I think I am going to go whip me up a juice, maybe carrot, beets, apples and pineapple? I hear carrots are good for energy. Day 21: Moving on to green smoothies

So this is day 2 of my job training. Plan on having a green smoothie this morning. Salad for lunch and apple and nutbutter for snack.

Really not liking this job I am training for but hmm, guess I will bare through it and see if I can do it. Dreading it already. So I am going to see what I can learn today and maybe it will not be as bad as I anticipate. Have looked for other jobs and there is just not much out there. Meatless Monday

Day 20: New beginnings

so I begin training for the new job today. Thinking this is the path God wants me to take for now. Drinking my celery, cucumber and apple juice this morning. will take a salad with cucumbers, avacado and tomato and some olives. Snack will be apple with almond butter. Also taking a gallon of water. Hope it will do the trick for this first day of trainng.

Day 19: Leaning in to the day!

Monday, the beginning of a new week and feeling energized! Have a job enterview for a part-time job. Not real excited about it but it is a necessity. I will have to work evenings which is not what I really wanted. At least it will be part time. That is if they hire me.

Day 18: Feeling hopeful, peaceful and accomplished!

Making juice today from celery, beet, apple and cucumber. Nice clean juiice!  I am drinking about one pitcher of juice in the mornings now. Then the rest of the day is salads or smoothies. Still eating my avacados! Love them! However ont he days I eat nutbutters I do not eat the avacado. Don't want to over do it on the fat. Some days I dont eat either one. I play it by ear and if I am craving fat I eat it, if not I don't.

Cleaning out more files and sorting them. It is a good feeling…

Day 17: Feeling tired today but peaceful.

Took my son shopping last night for school clothes. It was fun. He is so easy to shop with. Very practical with money and probably the easiest kid I have ever had. He has always done his homework without me having to bug him to do it. Straight A student and very thoughtful of others. I adore him! I love my girls too of course but they are totally different in personality. Both are artistic and fun loving and well, not always as practical. Great kids though! Day 16: feeling Savory!

Have decided to juice in the mornings only and today I wanted something savory so only veggies with tomato and small beat, celery, cucumber and kale. Not bad! I sometimes like to sprinnkle a bit of sea salt in the top to give it a kick and so it taste like a V-8 of sorts. In my case a V-5! Anyway this is how I plan to continue with my 90 days. 55 Days, Lazy Lady's Raw, and Spoiled in Portlandia

Day 15: Got fresh veggies from the farmers market/re-evaluating

So I am on day 15 of juicing and was talking with my friend the body builder who also has had past struggles with hypoglycemia. I am thinking that perhaps rather than juicing as much as I have been , cutting it down and only having juice in the morning and going to more raw veggies and salads etc. I actually feel better that way. Going to Chicago soon to visit my friend who has cancer. She is working with a friend of mine who helps cancer patients support their immune system with alkaline foods and a shake with super nutrition in it along with alkaline water.

Day 14: Going biking with my daughter

got my juice on and now we are going for a bike ride. Feels good to get some activity going again.Did not feel like it the first week and a half or so. Going to be a hot day.I tried a pair of pants on that I was hoping to get into and sadly could not button them yet. Day 13: 2 Timothy1:7

For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind. Added this to my positive affirmations yesterday. So today is day 13 and this morning I walked with a friend. Will do some elyptical with my daughter this evening at the gym. Feeling really good now. Still juicing most of the day but having fresh fruit as a snack and the avacado for my fat.

Day 12: Feeling light and thinner/focus: Faith and peace.

Wow! I am seeing a difference in my body! considering not even weighing at the 30 day mark because I want to keep the positive mental mind set and as I have mentioned before, scales discourage me.
