No rigid rules, labels or dogmas.... just REAL food, for your body, mind & soul!
Today, I had another new experience - juicng at the Ball Park. Some friends had invited us to go with them to watch our local minor league team, the Air Hogs, play. I left for the Ball Park with four quarts of juice, two green, and two carrot/pear/cinnamon. My friend thought smelling their hot dogs was going to be a major temptation for me; but since I very seldom eat something like a hot dog under any conditions, it was no problem at all. The mustard smelled good to me…Continue
Greetings from Country Dancer - one of my favorite rose bushes!
Bingo - perhaps it is coincidence, and perhaps I am right, that I've been juicing something that my body is reactive to. Because after just one day of cutting back to items that very few people ever have an issue with, I have dropped 3 1/2 pounds, after three weeks of very little change.
Starting weight: 214.5
Any suggestions for eating raw in Mexico? I am going to an intensive language school and will be staying and eating with a host family- at least for the first week or so. I have requested no meat and just veggies and fruits. I am not opposed to eating cooked food as my focus is on learning the language rather than being completely raw. When I traveled in Mexico with my cute hippie boyfriend in the past ( sadly :( I am no longer with him ) we ate out of the market. Mangos, bread, and…Continue
Photo Caption: Here is my granddaughter Alyssa, with the portion of the puff quilt that my daughter and I finished during my week in Kansas. This is half of the quilt, and is currently in three strips. We are all excited at how nicely it is turning out. Alyssa has always loved purple. Can you tell?! It is actually my favorite color as well.…

Photo: One of my favorites of a set of photos I took of my daughter's poppy patch. They live on the edge of a golf course, on a lot that has lots of trees. It is such an idyllic setting. I really enjoyed the breeze today, and watching the tree branches blow in the wind, the way the sun sparkled on the leaves. It was so incredibly beautiful.
Now here I am on the evening of Day 26. It has been a day filled with contentment, as I helped my daughter finish…Continue
Day 25 was challenging, as I've been sitting down to meals with my daughter and her family while we've been here - and this weekend, for some reason, it was a bit more difficult emotionally. Perhaps because there were two meals where we all sat down together on the same day.
But - I made it - with my husband's support, and with prayers.
My daughter and I made progress on the puff quilt, and I enjoyed a nice walk, and an outing on the lake across from their home.

It's picture time again - On this site, this is the first set of pictures I've posted . . . I can post the starting pictures another time if anyone is interested. The front view looks kind of silly, with my stomach showing, but I was trying to tuck the shirt up, so the tshirt didn't disguise anything. I can definitely see a big difference in my face.…

Yesterday was a juicy day on the road . . . as we were traveling to Kansas to visit our daughter. I was very pleased to have a successful day. I got in 5 1/2 quarts of juice. My fav for the day was watermelon lemonade. That one was quick and easy to make early in the morning - and very tasty
Well - here we are in Kansas. I am SO happy to be here, for a visit with our daughter and her family. Here I am with an unusual juice I made today.I was trying a recipe I…Continue
I am currently on day 18 of a juice feast and have hired a coach to help me follow through. It is very motivating to get to talk with David Rainoshek every weekday morning. AND - it is for sure making a difference! I am also in touch with several other women who are currently feasting, in David's "Green Room."
Its a wonderful Monday here in Wisconsin!. The sun is shining and birds are singing. This gives us a feeling of hope that our warmer weather has to come to us soon. I have found that the past month of eating Raw my body is feeling more and in tune more to things around me. I can tell how my body feels when the raw nutrients go into my body. Its a feeling of health and life. Music is and has always been a part of my life. Mark plays and performs in our home daily! Feeling the music,…Continue
