Day ? Not sure

Not sure what day it is, I am not too concerned with it. I am working out consistently at the gym. I am planning on implementing a new eating plan this coming Monday though so I think it will call it my Do-over restart plan Phase three.

Works for me, then I don't have to figure out what day it is! Ha, ha, ha!

Cleanse America?

Has anyone participated in the Cleanse America challenge?  There is another one starting in a few days, but it seems it is only 4 days long.  I'm thinking I want to do a smoothie, salad type cleanse.  I have been having green smoothies daily since I joined this site and I want to take it a step farther.  So far I haven't gone more than a few days without eating some sort of SAD food.  I have Penny's Raw Food Cleanse.  I don't know if I should just follow that or join Cleanse America.

Fitness and further detox symptoms

After really dropping the fat from my diet the past couple weeks (it's been a process) I noticed a few things:

What day is it? I don't even know!

Had problems with my computer and so did not have access till recently. So I am really not sure what day I am even on.  However, I have been going to the gym regularly. So Do well with that, eating on the other hand,, a bit out out of control, too many carbs like sweet potatoes, rice etc. I am planning on getting that back in toe this coming week. But at least I have my exercise going in the right direction.

My first full month on 80/10/10

Hi all,

I have been transitioning onto this 80/10/10 diet over the course of little over a month and just wanted to give a results update. So far, everything is excellent. I have lost about 6 pounds in about a month and a half (started going vegetarian, then substituting one meal a day with just fruit, now I eat 2 meals all raw fruit/veg and dinner is high carb low fat cooked). JUMP!

Ok...this is it...I just have to JUMP! And I'm gonna do it! My health,my life,my future depends on it! I have to give up cooked food and coffee cold turkey! I've tried easing into it...that's not gonna work. Cold turkey's the only way! I know it's gonna be hard at first. If I literally have to spend a week in bed due to detox,I'm gonna do it. Day 4 of 30 I need suggestions and Ideas.

Good morning all it is day 4 of 30. I spent the last 3 days switching over to raw eating. 85 % raw fruits & veggies. I want to start a green smoothie cleanse today. I mostly like spinach and kale. My normal smoothie is

2 cups of spinach

1 frozen banana

1 cup of strawberries

1 stevia



I repeat this about 4 times a day just changing the type of berries. I am not sure if this is enough nutrition. There is no protein for 30 days. So my question is what does a green… Continue

Day 3 of 30 Food for Thought.

When I really stop to ponder eating for me is more social & emotional then nutritional. I think we are socialized to use food as expression and comfort. When we are happy we eat, sad we eat, to celebrate accomplishment ...and so on. When I am about to eat something today I am going to stop and consider it's nutritional value. Day 1-30 The Struggle is Real! No Shame in my game!
