Feb 28th Raw

Stripped the bed tossed in washer ran out the door. No breakfast had to buy groceries and get back home.

Never got around to breakfast (had a few bites of sons meat :( ) oh well.

Getting my butt in gear

I am excited where I'm headed. And that's a plus for me. I really let myself get off track, and I have had a few really good shifts this week for what was really important to me. I have let go of draining friendships, one in particular that was stifling. And I feel like I can finally breathe. I'm putting my foot down and gaining my independence back. Busy Day

I was up early to go to Mass, then left immediately for a Reiki share. I had some Odwalla apple juice (not raw) and a Lara bar or breakfast on the way to Mass. At the Reiki share, I had tea, a salad of romaine, tomatoes, onions, apples, pineapple, Mandarin orange slices, and homemade balsamic vinaigrette, a Mandarin orange, and a raw bar. A 28 Day Total Learning Experience

Well, I just want to say congratulations to me for setting this goal and staying the course. The outcome is tremendous. I am not talking weight loss here I am talking about an emotional shift. Avacado, Kale, Lime and Date Smoothie

Ok, I'm REALLY doing it this time!!

This is my first BLOG post, so bear with me. I guess I need to give everybody a little history about ME!

Still Staying Strong!

Today was a lazy sort of day, which has both its advantages (more time to get creative with new recipes) and disadvantages (tendency to boredom = mindless eating). After yesterday, I needed a break. I did clean the kitchen, feed Angeles, Felix, Herbie, and Joker (Middie and Mollie get fed at bedtime), pick up pizzas for the kids, and made some raw goodies for myself.

Acorn squash + coconut meat = GOOD!

So I sorta fell off the wagon and I'm getting back on it :) But I went shopping yesterday after work to get some rawsome stuffs. I bought an acorn squash and got a young coconut a week ago. Well today while procrastinating (I'm a pro at this lol) I decided to be busy and peel this squash and hack into the coconut. Sad news

Hello everyone,



apologies for being absent all last week from this page. My boyfriend's dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, so we left home to be with his mum.

I'm really, really happy with my progress in The Vault. Couldn't have done it without you guys and great raw foods!


I had the best salad dressing on a salad from Trader Joes: it was called "Coconut Chili" and had the following in it: coconut milk, red chilis, lemon, lime, lemongrass, white wine vinegar, and can't remember what else. I'm going to try to replicate it soon b/c I would eat ANYTHING if it had that on top (almost) !

Forgot to Post Yesterday...

...but it was such a busy day!!

Early AM was my visit with the orthopedic surgeon. He still wants to hold off on surgery, and wants to me take Naproxin and get PT instead. PT costs $90/week out-of-pocket, and he wants me to take it for THREE WEEKS!! Luckily I have a friend who is a physical therapist, so I'll see if I can get some "do at home" ideas from her. The Naproxin seems to be working well, and as long as I'm not in pain, I have no problem doing the exercises at…

Saturaday Feb 26th

Still in CT with sister. Had another smoothie for breakfast. An awesome salad for lunch. Finding many ways to use Michelles Cashew dressing. I took a some purple cabbage and shredded it up added some pecans and raisens. Stirred in some cashew dressing and it was yummy. Had some of the leftover Wheatberry salad from Whole foods with it.

hey fellow rehabers diverticulitis after 6 months of raw

anyone out there with experience with gut issues after making the switch? have been raw with rare cooked food for 6 months.
