I am actually eating just plain banana ice-cream this morning, no spirulina or chlorella or cinnamon or anything added except water. How odd, nothing needed to be improved taste or consistency wise!! I thought that I'd come on quickly to let you all know that I'm feeling great and have been eating very high raw (98% and upwards) for 8 full days now! My energy is soaring, I'm feeling great and I've lost 9 lbs so far!

I have been drinking green tea in between and I was thinking if this ok on the juice feast? I would appriciate if anyone reply with your thoughts on this.
If it is not something in practice, should I replace green tea by water with lemon? Its just freezing here, and something warm is required :))))

I've lost weight... I can't amagin having to eat 1/2 of the junk I used to eat after all that I've learn! But I have no room, to lose weight ... none! I feel like my world is closing in on me! Had an amazing time out with my boyfriend day before yesterday night. :) His friends are SO adorable, they remind me of the Lost Boys from Peter Pan :P Even the way they fall asleep...one always falls asleep at the foot of the bed and the other one falls asleep at the front and they lie on top of all the blankets. Anti-aging really depends on how well your body is able to heal itself throughout your life. You are only as young as your body heals. Its not time that ages you, but rather a lack of true nourishment on all levels; Mind, Body and Soul.
An update. I was part of the Raw Balance Initiative, which I loved. For a number of years before that I was eating a big salad everyday along with green juices and smoothies. Anyway I went overseas to visit my daughter and her family during the initiative and missed about a month of it. So I got back Dec. 16th and Dec 25th I started coughing. ... just a few days before my vacation I catch a cold. A serious cold and I'm miserable. Today I made a cold & flu shot. Juice of one lemon, 1-inch piece fresh ginger, and a pinch of ground pepper.
The lemon has a high concentrate of vitamin C, ginger helps build the immune system, and the pepper adds quite a kick and helped clear my nose.

Made a gigantic batch of the crimson juice yesterday!!!! I had one glass yesterday and now I am drinking one this morning and I have SO much left!! It's wonderful to have such an abundance of the thing that I need!!! It contains 2 heads of kale, 1 huge beet, 1/2 a head of dill, 1 small purple onion, and at least 15 carrots. It really isn't the best tasting green juice I've ever had, but it certainly isn't bad either. I'm just so happy to have it!!

The last five days have been focused on eating at least 50% Raw, which has been pretty easy. The cravings are the dificult part, most of the time I am not even sure what I am craving. All in all, been doing pretty good.This transition for me is not about torture, but about doing better every day.
