"oops...hit the button too early. Also instead of putting them in the fridge i put them, in water ( like flowers) and change the water often. Works very very well for basil."

"I wrap them in paper towels and sometimes on top of that inside a plastic bag. But in a garage sale lately I found a plastic container, a rectangle box that has inside a plastic tray and they keep well. Hope that helps!"

I am 58 years old, I cook (yes...cook) and manage a guest house, I love movies, music, walking, yoga but with arthritis forget about it, swimming in the ocen or lakes, travelling, talking to people, any kind of craft (sewing, knitting, quilting, cross stiching, making cards etc...). I'd love to be myself again, dress nicely, stop pretending that I am fine, make my own clothes,stop hiding behind food, stop food being my boss, stop food controlling me, i'd love to be free and me.

My thoughts go to all the families affected by this atrocious event at the Newton School....we should not have to send our children to school to never see them again...let alone before Christmas.

I didn't do so well with it at the end. I have some things going on and am feeling depressed, so I did what so many of us do and reached for comfort food. The thing is I knew why I was doing it but still did it. Can't look back though. I'm going to keep the smoothies in daily too. Thanks for going along with it and providing encouragement by doing so.

You've kept me going too, but I did splurge tonight and have some 'real' food. It wasn't healthy either and I thought I'd enjoy it. Oddly, it barely had flavor and shortly after I started eating it, all I could think was how much better my smoothies tasted. They will definitely remain a big part of my diet from now on. If you hadn't agreed to do this with me, I might not have stayed motivated this long. Back to it tomorrow!
