Enjoy your lunch!
Hello Carol:
I haven’t used fennel seeds but thanks for the idea. Chia seeds are a regular in my high raw lifestyle. Chia seeds are a great little trick I use to help battle acid reflux. Plus they are loaded with nutrition and help the body stay hydrated. Recently, I ground some chia seeds to experiment with and see how they work for me and my simple concoctions.
Being sensitive to sugar and all the alternative diet sweeteners on the market is how I got started on Stevia thirty some years ago as it is from the plant and not a chemical creation. Back then it was just the white powder but now I enjoy the liquid much more. Also, I use raw date paste for a sweetener and flavor enhancer. Yum! I don’t have to have everything sweetened but many of my green smoothie experiments have been salvaged with a little added flavoring and sweetness. Have fun experimenting : )
Thanks for adding me as a friend, Carol. This is one of my favorite combinations for making a green smoothie. Blend: Two oranges, huge handful of baby spinach, liquid Stevia to taste for sweetness, ½ teaspoon vanilla if you like, almond milk for my liquid and flavor. Add ice or serve over ice. Enjoy! It reminds me of the sugary Orange Julius my children would buy out at the Mall. Have a great day : )
