The "emotional diet": are we "eating" the right emotions?

Posted on August 28, 2011 at 7:30am 10 Comments

Hi everybody, I'd like to share with all of you RFR members thoughts..

When it's time to start a brand new lifestyle or habbit it is quite common to focus only on the specific "contents" instead of considering other aspects that make this whole new experience worth living.

I guess nutrition is no exception.

I remember when I was on a macrobiotic diet I was paying far too much attention if what was in my dish was too yin or too yang...

The only result is that…

Is it possible to eat mushrooms raw?

Posted on July 23, 2011 at 1:27pm 7 Comments

Since I went vegan and almost 100% raw I always wondered about mushrooms. As a matter of fact mushrooms especially certain varieties (such as reishi, shitake, chaga) have wonderful properties though it is always recommend to use them as tea to extract their properties. Most common varieties like french champignons are supposed to be cooked. Does anybody have any suggestion or experience whether or not mushrooms can be eaten raw? Love & respect Valerio
