About Me: (at least a couple of sentences; ex: family, interests, hobbies, favorite quote, personal mission statement, etc
I am a busy mom of three wonderful boys. I love the outdoors and have recently found myself LOVING to work out. I have struggled with my weight since I started having children 12 years ago. An injury at work has left me with permanent injuries that sometimes make it very hard to workout. So, me actually loving the gym now is a huge positive.
My husband, Matt Donahue, is active on this site, and it is because of him that I am here. I am his biggest fan, although he believes otherwise. I am still new to a lot of this. I am NOT one for change, so this is a big step for me. I know I will make mistakes, but a wise man once told me, when you make mistakes, it at least shows you are trying. So I am going to try!
I have struggled with my self image for a while and I fully believe that happiness is an inside job. In the last 2 months I have lost 21 pounds, not all by raw...just cutting out fast food, soda, and eating more fruits and veggies, and working out. I am hoping to learn the Raw way and get even healthier!
How did you hear about Raw Food Rehab?
My husband started doing raw foods about a month ago and has done amazingly. Cant grasp the raw meat but it works for him. He is my true inspiration...
What percentage of your current diet would you estimate is raw foods? (this answer many change over time)

Thanks for adding me as a friend, Tonya. This is one of my favorite combinations for making a green smoothie. Blend: Two oranges, huge handful of baby spinach, liquid Stevia to taste for sweetness, ½ teaspoon vanilla if you like, almond milk for my liquid and flavor. If you don’t use Stevia, use what you enjoy. Add ice or serve over ice. Enjoy! It reminds me of the sugary Orange Julius my children would buy out at the Mall. Have a great day : )
