You've all heard the stories about how peoples taste buds change while eating a mostly raw diet. Well, My husband likes KALE CHIPS. for the past year I've been giving him green smoothies almost everyday. He is a big meat eater. So much Kale!!

My Garden Kale is doing wonderful.. with the hot weather it's time to pick and make kale chips.. Does anyone know How long kale chips last.. if kept in airtight container?? I have about 8-10 kale plants and want to stock up on kale chips. I also have big zuchini My son Left it on the plant while my husband and I were gone.. I took one this evening and chopped it up add some flax seed ground, piece of red bell pepper and garlic and little onion, Ground it up and made dolops on the dehydrator…

Flying Away!!

I haven't had much time to blog lately with kids graduating from college and getting ready for our 25 wedding anniversay trip Which we leave tommorrow. I'm not worried about being able to stay 80% raw or more the buffet are loaded with fruits and salad bounty. and they even have a smoothie bar. I hope the weather with not be rainy . Has Anyone had this Problem with their Vitamix?

Today, I made my usual Green smoothie, Poured it into glasses and rinsed my pitcher. Took a rag to wipe down the Vitamix base and it had smoothie on it. ALOT. My pitcher is leaking!! Antonio( That's it's name) is only 1 1/2 years old..

I called Vitamix and they are sending me a tool to tighted the bottom which I had taken apart to clean thinking that might be the problem.. I think it's a seal. Water just pours out the bottom. Has anyone had a problem like this one.?????. Also, Don't…
