Today is Sabbath - a day to relax and focus my thoughts on God. This morning has been very nice so far. I had a lovely bowl of oatmeal with grapes, strawberries, almonds, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, raisins, carob chiops and watermelon. Mmmmm, so good! Now my daughter is jumping on my bed in just her underwear and my son is pretending he is blowing up an inflatable trampoline. Well, the leaves are falling more rapidly now and the wind has more of a chill too it. More and more plants are turning colors and dying. It is really nice to have so little bugs now! It took me all summer to get my garden cleared out from weeds and quack grass (I did it all with my pitchfork), it sure helped my waist line too! All too soon the white flakes will fall from the sky and we will start our hibernation process. My goal for this winter is to get my children to love winter…Continue
I started out this day with an hour walk/run. I've started using the application, Couch to 10K. I love it! I'm surprised to see how well I'm doing on it and it is so easy (mind you I only just finished week 3!) I've been eating oatmeal in the mornings and juicing the rest of the day (and trying not to nibble on my children's leftovers!) Hoping the grey clouds roll away and the sun comes out and gives us another warm day! Would love to have the kids in the park all morning!
