I'm a newlyraw! Raw and I got married three days ago and I still have stars in my eyes. The honeymoon period of change is always so sweet. All that information seeking, learning, and adventure!

When I met Raw a bit ago, I was afraid of the deep commitment he so willingly gave. Raw accepted the fact I have an autoimmune disease that i'm wiling to give up for him, if he can help me. Instead of an "on again off again" courtship, we decided to go for it and get hitched! Raw said it's the only way to truly let go of the the disease and give it to him to fix. No two timing or open relationship here!

To keep our rawlationship fresh, we knew we'd need like-minded friends to learn, share and grow with, as well as helping to deepen our commitment beyond the honeymoon stage.

What is your motivation for joining Real Food Rehab? (moral support, education, recipes, inspiration, fitness tips, etc.)
All of the above. I just started Raw Fooding this week and have a commitment to myself and my health to stick with it for at least 2 months, unless I have a serious health setback that indicates problems with the food and what I need. At day three, this looks like it won't be a problem at all!

Returned from the great beyond....

Hello RFR'er!  Long time no post for me.  Life has been full of change and complications (moving to MI from WA and many scary health issues....).  It's time for me to get back on the rawgon.  I've been following a vegetarian diet and sometimes vegan, with some raw thrown in most days.  But, I think I need to be more committed to my raw-ness and need to return to the fold like the prodigal child I've been.  So, hello everyone and I hope to see you soon....

Week 3 - It's TUESDAY and time for our weekly health progression update

All is going quite well. My body is very happy with me for doing all these good things for it! My glucose numbers are still going strong, in a good way. They've been up alittle bit this week because I've had back problems, which was diagnosed as a compression fracture in the lumbar region. Ouch. It's getting better slowly, but pain = inflammation = elevated immunity = elevated glucose. My Dr's are very happy to hear about the changes though.
