The label says that this is a raw and it is similar to brown sugar.

What is the nutritional opinion of this community regarding coconut crystals?

May I Be Frank?

Last night I was fortunate enough to see 'May I Be Frank' and Frank talked to our group. One of the directors is from the town where I live so that may be why we had a showing at our local 'arthouse'. The small theater of 200 was packed and applause and questions ended the evening. The movie is a touching story about Frank and how he works to change his life. He walks into Cafe Gratitude, feels surrounded by love and keeps returning.

Raw food is the catalyst for Frank to change his life. I… Continue

Chia Pudding?

Posted on October 20, 2010 at 9:21pm 13 Comments

I bought some Chia seeds a not long ago and kept them in a plastic container in my fridge. I've never made chia pudding before so today I decided to add a couple cups of apple juice to 1/4 cup chia seeds. After many hours, nothing much has happened to the seeds. There hasn't been any kind of gel happening to the seeds. Does anyone know why?

Hi Everyone,

I am considering buying a blood sugar monitor and would like input. I am not diabetic, but would like to monitor my blood sugar.

Any recommendations on what kind of blood sugar monitor to buy and any hints on using a blood sugar monitor?

Thanks

Norie

Hey Norie!
I love Victorian pictures.
This one with the Collie and the Lamb is a special picture to me .
My Grand mother had this picture.
It hung on the wall in her spare bedroom where, I use to spend the night!
I spent many a morning laying in bed looking at it.
I end up 2 years ago finding the print and bought it on line.
