We head out tomorrow from Illinois to Colorado and thought I'd make some easy, yummy, and nutritious snacks to take along.  These took about 20 minutes to make, that includes snacking while making :)



Spicy Mustard green soup

I found myself with a new green that is not used a lot in any of my raw culinary books!? Mustard greens that is.  I've never tried them and they looked pretty the other day so I bought some.  I was feeling that a nice soup warmed in the blender would be just the ticket to dispel the 2 ft of snow here in Illinois.  


So doing what I do best (throwing whatever I have in the house together) I combined:


1/2 bunch of mustard greens, washed and destemmed

Hi! I've been in Portland for a year, but am just now starting to get involved in fun stuff and getting back into raw after falling away from it for about a year.  It took me a while to get settled here.  I'm glad you posted that event!  Crashing the country club was fun :)
