Super quick update: Two months "re-rawed," still loving it, still taking off pounds. Not sure what I weigh because I am being good and not weighing (it tends to mess me up.) But my clothes feel looser and hang better and I feel lighter on my feet and less pain, so woo-hoo! I have settled into a pattern that works: green juice upon rising, green smoothie late a.m, heartier raw entree for lunch, very light dinner like a big salad or just an avocado mixed with salsa.

Time flies when you're eating lots of kale. And sprouts. And avocados! I'm cruising along with my "lazy lady's raw." Basically, I wake up every day and make a green juice and drink it. I bring I quart of green smoothie with me to work. I sip on that all day till lunch. I usually have a big salad with tons of veggies and a few tablespoons of cooked beans (I am high raw, a la Hallelujah Diet, so I get 15% cooked veggies or legumes.) I don't like to weigh in because it messes me up. I've said it before but it is usually a bad thing for me and I end up either binging or making bad choices (binging is a very bad choice, of course. But I meant binging on raw food too.) Any way, I had a doctor's appointment and they weighed me on day 45 (June 15th) and lo! I had taken off 35 lbs in those 45 days.
