About Me: (at least a couple of sentences; ex: family, interests, hobbies, favorite quote, personal mission statement, etc
Love my family, husband, two grown sons and a darling grandaughter. Just venturing in the Raw Foods area, trying slowly to incorporate, starting with green smoothies. Very picky eater, so I'm struggling feeling my way in, but determined to get at least part way there! :)

Thanks for adding me as a friend, Kimberle. This is one of my favorite combinations for making a green smoothie. Blend: Two oranges, huge handful of baby spinach, liquid Stevia to taste for sweetness, almond milk for my liquid and flavor. Add ice or serve over ice. Enjoy! It reminds me of the sugary Orange Julius my children would buy out at the Mall. Have a great day : )
Hi Kimberle, Thanks for the friend request, looks like we're almost neighbors. You may have already seen this but I'm gonna jump out there anyway and send you a few tunes from a nonprofit organization called "Playing For Change." I love their concept, Peace through Music. They started with one song (first in the list below) performed by a street musician just up north from us, they took it all around the world, recording other street musicians on the same song and it came out great. They have since recorded many more as you will see, with the proceeds from the sale of DVD of these tunes they are building music schools in Africa and other third world countries so if you like the music and their effort you can purchase their DVD's. Hope you have some nice speakers attached to your PC or some earphones, enjoy and thanks again for the friend request..
PS .. Changing your diet should be done with an easy going transition at your own pace, from your usual to the optimum diet of fruits in season and leafy green vegetables, one of the best books out there is an old one written about a hundred years ago by Prof Arnold Aheret ~
Hi Kimberle! Having been a vegetarian for 27 years and a vegan since January, I can't relate to the not really liking vegetables. Good for you for trying to do something better for yourself. If you go to the liquid lounge and the kitchen under rooms you'll find recipes. I'm not that creative so I need to go there for inspiration and ideas. Hope they help you.
