I saw my hormone doctor the other day and he was asking how I was doing and I mentioned that I'd been juicing and incorporating a raw food diet into my daily eating for the past couple of weeks, and that I was feeling less sluggish, and my sleep patterns were greatly improved, and I just thought it was a good choice for me (not always easy, but something that seemed to make a positive change for me).

Hi Kathy, You're welcome, thank you for accepting :-) Have eaten healthily most of my life, never been a big meat eater but I have been a vegetarian for quite a while now. Have always incorporated loads of fruit and salads in my diet all my life. Have fallen off the wagon with fully raw quite a few times due to basically being the only one in my area interested in this way of life. ( My partner says he will never give up meat but he has improved his diet a lot since we met) I live it a country town where they farm cattle, sheep for eating and wool etc. 8 months ago I had another baby and really want to get back on track. Too much to do and so hard to get it done when feeling sluggish. Don't worry about feeling like an amateur, we are all at different stages and it's great that you are here. Today I've just been juicing ( oranges, ginger, mint, parsley and carrot ) and had a papaya, banana and avocado smoothie. I've been awake since 3 am and had plenty of energy.

I think things are changing and the new doctors are young, hip, and open minded. Hopefully the pharmaceutical companies that run the medical schools won't be able to completely brainwash them.
