It's a cold grey day here in England, and I wanted something warm to have for my lunch, so I made up some coconut milk with a big-ish chunk of coconut dissolved in hot water. Chucked it in the blender with some frozen raspberries to cool it down, then added some Sunwarrior protein (my indulgent splurge this month - I've decided to treat myself to one new thing a month), some rocket, spinach and watercress, half a banana, my beloved Green Matcha powder and some cinnamon. It's warmish and…

I walked into town through the park today - spring has finally come to England, hurrah! Decided to take some pics to show you , it's so beautiful; blossom, daisies, (can you eat daisies, by-the-way? they look so edible!), birds singing. The swallows have arrived...

Just had a bowl of chopped apple, banana and blueberries for breakfast, sprinkled with cinnamon, a few walnuts and served with cold home-made almond milk. Yum.
For lunch, I'll take a couple of small flasks of my standby smoothie (juiced pineapple, lime, greens, blended with avo) as I'm going to be out all day and running around.
Dinner tonight will be that lovely-looking Eastern Dragon Salad recipe that Penni posted.
I'm back on raw after a week of bad stuff. Why do I…

I got into the habit of reading the online newspapers every morning while drinking a cup of tea - The Guardian, the Independent, and the Daily Mail. The Daily Mail was like my dirty little secret - it's so bite-sized and chatty that it is addictive - but like junk food, leaves you feeling sick and with a nasty taste in your mouth afterwards. It's full of nasty stories, perpetuates that horrible size 0/hair-extension/fake tan/fake boobs celebrity culture, and is filled with mean-spirited…

Hello Kate:
Thanks for accepting the friends request. I am feeling lot more hopeful today. I was doing so well with raw foods. I followed Ani Phyo's 15 day Fat Blaster --which is a great detoxifier. Recently somehow, I began making unhealthy food choices that spiraled out of control. I get Raw Food Rehab mail--and other raw communities in my inbox--but have not paid attention. I realized---there is all this support---that's what you need. I joined Paul Risse's Cleanse America--- I plan to completely immerse my self in Raw communities. I forget when I get cravings for cheese or dairy---so many raw foods cover that for me----like Avocado--mango---Soaked cashews blended with seasonings.
Feeling so much better. The quality of my skin--is unbelievable when I am high Raw.
