Hi!
If you were recommending a book to a friend of yours, in regards to beginning raw, what recipe book would you say? (Either an e-book or paperback.)
It seems like there are so many recipe books out there; it's hard to pick. And, for someone who's taste buds are new to raw, I'm just wondering if you might share one you'd suggest.
Thanks

Hi,
I originally posted this in Culinary; however, no one replied yet.
Being new to raw, I'm used to foods (cooked vegan) served at a higher temperature. I do not have a dehydrator to "warm" up foods, and I'm wondering for things such as a "pesto sauce" -- how do you personally eat that?
I've never heard this talked about... maybe it's a silly question. Forgive me, if so. But, for things like marinara/pesto, served over zucchini…

Hi all,
Everyone seems to know this already, forgive me for what might seem like a silly question:
what is the gist on these oils?
Is one more recommended in the raw world vs. others? Have only ever tried flax seed (smoothies).
- I know to look for cold-pressed (meaning raw?)
- but, what is the difference essentially between these?
Looking to use as base for salad dressings.
Thanks so…

Do you recommend it?
How do you use it?
Are there certain things to look for when buying it? (brand? source?)
Thank you for any tips or suggestions. I greatly appreciate it.

It can be done since we did it. I wrote about it on my blog here.
You must already have the basic idea, fruit, fruit, greens and fruit, some vegetables, and a few nuts or seeds. :-)
In the book "The 80 10 10 Diet", there are menus, a week of three meals a day for each season. We used that to get a feel for what and how much one should eat. We are glad to slim down a bit though.
