How did you hear about Raw Food Rehab?
Penni Shelton
What percentage of your current diet would you estimate is raw foods? (this answer many change over time)
I am 100 percent raw vegan
How are you hoping this community can best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, recipes, inspiration, fitness tips, etc)
At one time in my life, I thought I would never overcome my addiction to food. When I started learning about other ways to soothe myself and began to feel more comfortable with my emotions, my problems with food went away. I love learning about good nutrition. Hippocrates, the father of medicine, said, “Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.” I feel more energized, alert and emotionally balanced when I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. Explore your options and seek out guidance.
RFR Oath: I acknowledge that everyone is at a different point along their health journey and I will respect the individual progress and needs of others as they make lifestyle choices and changes of their own. I promise to do my best to keep this community drama free. I understand that posting inappropriate material, personal attacks, unapproved solicitations or spamming of any kind can result in administrative action and/or removal from this community. I pledge to be respectful even if I do not agree with another member's opinion. Agreed?

I'm feeling pretty darn good... We are expecting 18 inches of snow here in New England tonight and I am looking forward in waking up to a beautiful day of glistening white sunshine tomorrow morning.. I will post some pictures.

Tonight I had such an uplifting phone call from a new client… Continue

Today I thought I would share one of my motivational daily emails from Seed of Choice with you

No matter how stuck you feel, you always have choices in life. Sometimes your only choice is your attitude. Great! Attitude is the most powerful choice of all. Stay in the present. The past and future demand answers while the present may simply ask for patience. Take steps today to reclaim the power of choice.

Today it's going to be mighty chilly out there here in New England.. I will make sure I add lots of fresh ginger to my green juice this morning .It is amazing how my taste buds have changed through out the years .. 2 quarts of the green juice in the morning goes pretty quickly nowadays.. All I seem to want is GREENS, GREENS and more GREENS these days...

For the first time in my life I feel liberated. I no longer plan my day around food. I know that whatever I chose to eat it will… Continue
