I have always loved to cook and I ran into raw food through a documentary I saw called, "food matters." I'm not 100% raw, but I became a vegan and I feel loads better than I've ever felt while eating meat and cooked food. I now have a huge hobby of making raw food and creating my own recipes.

Other than raw food I love animals (one of the reasons why I don't eat them), french culture and language, comics, sci-fi, horror movies, gaming, and reading.

Ok so firstly, these 2 recipes I got from Rawmazing.

The first is of the Sun Dried Tomato Pumpkin Seed Pesto recipe. Honestly I loved the idea but just used some left over pesto that I had and put about a tablespoon and two sundried tomatoes on top of thick tomato slices with a balsamic vinaigrette (made with agave, not honey). I have listed the original recipe because it looks amazing, but my version of it was really good too.

Pesto Lasgna

Another great recipe! So tonight I wanted to make a raw lasagna, but I wanted to try something new besides the regular one with a marinara sauce so what's just as good as a raw marinara? PESTO! So I threw together a raw lasagna with a pesto sauce and get this, my husband loved it!! That's right, my SAD eating hubby had 2 helpings, and that's something. So here's the recipe. I used whatever veggies I thought would go good together but feel free to add your own.

Ok, so I just tried this recipe and it was soooooooo good! I couldn't believe it! I was a HUGE sushi fan, and this really hit the spot and I was so pleasantly surprised and I just had to share this recipe with everyone!

Raw Sushi


1 parsnip, peeled and chopped

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons scallions, minced

2 teaspoons minced ginger

1/4 tablespoon salt
