raw food feast for my friend

Today is my best pal's birthday. I made what I call 'fairy food' - light, beautiful, radiantly raw and tasty on the palate.I put together a plate of zucchini slices topped with pesto (basil & pumpkin seeds blended w/ olive oil & a bit of garlic salt)then sundried tomatoes and 1 olive. These little 'sliders' were a hit. My friend said, why in the world would anyone ever want crackers if they had these? She is not raw by any means, so it is really fun to delight her with my raw creations.I…See More

Alchemy in all of it's magic - transforming the moment with the blessing of gratitude, awareness, and creative possibilities!
I live in Northern California - with so many wonderful places to be in nature, and to enjoy fresh organic food - what a blessing! My son converted me to vegetarianism when he was 3 years old (he'll be 24 next month) when he pushed the plate of dinner (chicken) away and said - "I'm not eating my friends any more Mama" we both converted that very moment!

Through my work as a metaphysical coach I have the blessing of working with wonderful people who want to connect more fully with the spiritual side of life. I teach practical spiritual tools such as meditation, affirmative prayer, and conscious creation.
I am grateful to be here, in this community, in this life, on this planet at this time! Namaste

How's this for a new paradigm?

Hi friends ~

Just had to share this - so excited!  Today I offered a Green Smoothie tasting bar after church during our usual 'hosptality' time when the customary fare is coffee and processed junk (well you know what I mean right?).

Two friends and I, assisted by my son and his girlfriend, fired up our Vitamixes and served small tasting cups of

1 savory and 1 fruity smoothie. Well, we had 'em lined up and coming back for 2nds and 3rds!  People were curious,  we answered…

Celebrating the raw way

Posted on September 10, 2013 at 5:41pm 4 Comments

hi dear friends - it's been a while since I've posted, and this seems like the time to share some raw goodness!

My son turned 27 over the weekend. He has been vegetarian since age 3 when he declared that he did not want to eat his friends (the animals) any longer. We both converted then and there and have been vegetarian for 24 years.

Recently my son took the next step to becoming vegan - inspired by his lovely new girlfriend who is very health conscious (thank you Universe!).…

Reflections on a 3 day, make that 5 day juice-feast!

Posted on June 5, 2013 at 2:05pm 4 Comments

Hi Friends,

I am so grateful for Penni's invitation to join the 3 Day Cleanse America Initiative.

I opted to go for an additional 2 days, turning it into a 5 day - juicing/smoothies/liquid only exploration.

Here are my reflections on the journey

I am so proud of myself for fully committing to and completing my 5 day juice/smoothie feast/fest! I have 'feared' cleanses in the past. I did participate in the very first Cleanse…

hi Janet ~ It's great to meet You too :-) I Love RFR too although I have been away far too long. I had another bub 8 months ago and wanting to get back on track. Great to make friends with others on the Raw Path. I have always had a lot of raw in my diet, more than most people I knew but it's time for me to cut out the rubbish altogether. I never feel great when I'm not eating well. I have been a vegetarian for quite a while now but have never been a big meat eater. It is easy for me to not eat meat, I never crave it. My partner is not the type to give up meat or cooked foods but his diet has improved greatly since we met. He likes my smoothies and juices.

Happy to meet You Janet

Blessings xx, Lauren
