My family and I went to visit my husband's grandma today. I knew this would be a lesson in temptation, so I packed my own food. I included kale, carrots, a little lettuce, colored peppers, cherries, strawberries, blueberries and some grapes from my neighbors vine. I was hoping my food would not be an insult to his grandma. I have the afternoon sleepies! I think I am going to go whip me up a juice, maybe carrot, beets, apples and pineapple? I hear carrots are good for energy. So about my journey to Awesome, I have added the nuts to my work lunch and it really does help keep me full. I usually eat two bananas, a good bit of nuts, blueberries, apples and strawberries for breakfast. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I have good size helpings and I feel so full after I eat. I am beginning to realize that my food choices have more of an affect on me than I originally thought. I am now determined to hold myself accountable starting now. I will settle for nothing less than foods that will make me feel awesome! I figure if I blog about my journey to feeling awesome I will be more motivated and have a little support, too.
