I have been absent from RFR for awhile... I regularly come to the site and look around, but I haven't posted for a loooong time. I have still been eating high raw, but not faithfully.
I am tired of hurting, being obese, being tired, and depressed.
I decided to embark upon a 30 day September (has 30 days) smoothie and juice feast. I will have green juices using Dan McDonald's recipes (minus the cilantro), and my own smoothie creations.

Hello raw food rehabbers!
Today, I was given an ultimatum by my husband... Lose 50 pounds or lose him. OUCH!!!
Now in his defense, I must honestly tell you (He is being very generous with just 50 pounds... I need to lose at least 70.)

Seriously, is it possible to lose a significant amount of weight eating raw foods????
I mean, seriously????
I am finding that even while eating raw, I still overeat. I can't get enough, and I'm not satisfied until I go out and get some bakery items or chocolate candy bars. I just bought a Vitamix and I make healthy smoothies for breakfast, then go out and get cake and cookies for the rest of the day. I really want to be healthy and lose weight, but I can't seem…
