I am the owner/operator of an acupuncture clinic where I practice traditional chinese medicine, nutritional counseling, and and health education. I enjoy gardening, reading, outdoor activities, and am really working to reduce my carbon footprint. In 2013 I picked up a camera again and now my biggest hobby is wildlife photography.

In 2008/2009 I attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach.

I am also certified in Alissa Cohen's Level I Raw Chef and Teacher program. Not only do I teach her Level I class but I also teach 8 - 10 raw food classes each year.

I lead four seasonal cleanses every year and am developing a program called Sad2Fab which will also include a raw food cleanse and juicefeast with each program.

How did you hear about our community?
From friends and from Penni when she started the group.
What dietary interests do you have? (clean eating, vegetarian, vegan, paleo, weight loss, etc?)
After almost 8 years of raw vegan, I am now eating clean, local sourced meats. I try to follow a combination of clean eating and no grains.
What is your motivation for joining Real Food Rehab? (moral support, education, recipes, inspiration, fitness tips, etc.)
I like being connected with like minded people. It helps me to stay motivated and I enjoy the neworking and recipe sharing.

Having been a member of RFR now for several years I love this community more and more every year. Penni and Susan are the best. I really enjoy the support from others, inspiration, and all the information I have gained through the 11 week initiatives.

80/10/10 Newbie in Progress

So I'm one of these people that pay attention when they keep hearing things over and over. In the past 6 months 80/10/10 has been mentioned or I've been asked about it at least 5 times.  The last time one of my clients asked my my opinion and I responded I had no opinion since I hadn't read the book yet.
