Okay, so I think going 100% raw right at the beginning is a little too much. I will stay mostly raw, probably 70-80%, and the rest of the time it will be cooked/steamed veggies. I just love seasoning things, so it just makes more sense to me at this time just until I get more used to the taste of raw veggies. So, off to the kitchen forum I go! lol
So the second day is a little harder on the first day, it seems. Well, it's day 1 and so far so good! I just bought my first bunch of fruits and veggies for the week. I think I spent around $60 or $70 on food alone. lol I never realized how difficult it is to get organic food in this town. You'd think with the size Joplin is there would be a better Farmer's Market, but the only one we have is only open on Wednesdays and I work during the week... and the veggies aren't organic! So tomorrow I start my raw veggie cleanse journey thing. I am kind of nervous because this is going to be a big change for me, but I have been researching it for a year now (off and on), and I have finally come to the decision that it might be good for me to at least try it.
