Having fun being raw

My fiance to be (his explanation of our relationship!) moved in a week ago.  My fiance to be is the best.  He has embraced the raw vegan lifestyle and is always appreciative of whatever I make.  We have been having great meals.  Breakfast is fruit salad and a piece of sprouted grain toast.  Lunch is either leftovers or a big salad.  

 

Tonight for dinner we're having a Russel James recipe for broccoli with hosein sauce and parsnip rice, red pepper soup, and some rice paper…

My successes

I've been raw vegan for the last year and vegan for 2.5 years. I've been doing internal cleansing for as long. I often think I haven't made much progress but then something happens that reminds me of the successes I've seen along my journey.

Has Anyone Used Coconut Oil for it's medicinal properites?

I was reading on the Internet that coconut oil helps in treating thyroid malfunctioning, so I bought a book on coconut oil which recommended consuming 3.5 tblspn a day.



I've been using coconut oil as a facial moisturizer for some time. A couple of weeks ago I had a terrible flea infestation and was being bitten daily which was leaving welts all over my legs. I was watching the Today show and they did a segment last week on difficulties women have with weight and one was attributed to hypothyroidism.
