Hi! I'm Back!

Posted on July 31, 2013 at 6:00pm 3 Comments

I have been away from this forum and the raw food diet for awhile, easily one year.  I feel terrible, my gallbladder has been flaring up on a regular bases now.  It makes me feel like I have the flu.  I get nauseous first, then hot and cold sweats, shaky and my blood pressure goes up.  I usually vomit at least once then I have diarrhea.  I take a pill for nausea, but it takes awhile for it to work, so I lay down on my bed…

Sad and Confused.

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 9:29pm 21 Comments

I haven't been blogging lately, because my life has been very stressful lately, especially at home.  My relationship with my husband has been shaky for the last few days.  It has to do with my 25 year old son who is living with us, his lack of ambition (he is working, but it is only part time) and whether our relationship can take the stress of being close to declaring bankruptsy.  My husband and I finally starting really talking since Wednesday night.  We have…

My New Normal!! Love it!

Posted on July 24, 2011 at 6:56pm 3 Comments

I realized today that I'm slowly beginning to think of the Raw Food diet as a part of my lifestyle.  It is starting to become comfortable instead of a challenge.  I go to the grocery store and I head to the produce isle and love choosing new veggies and fruits to try, besides my old favorites.  Saturday has become sprouting day, where I start new sprouts for the week.  I now have Alfalfa, quinoa and sunflower seeds sprouted.  I also have wheat and rye soaked and…

Attitude Adjustment and Loving Raw!!!

Posted on July 15, 2011 at 9:30pm 5 Comments

I have had a more  positive attitude towards the raw food lifestyle since I wrote my last blog, a few days ago.  I have ate mostly raw for breakfst and lunch, and ate SAD for dinner.  I was wondering how to change this and eat raw foods for every…

The only things you can control are:

how you think and speak, what you do:  what you eat, what you drink, when you move your body, when you sleep, how you will respond to any situation.

Master these simple things positively and you will be amazed at the changes that will come into your life!  Let this be your year to SHINE!!

You are never stuck. Things can and do and always will change. It is hard to remember this in the darkest hours. But do not believe that you are stuck. Change is inevitableBreakthroughs happen every day.  Know that every little hope, every positive idea and every struggling step forward is a sure step on the path to a breakthrough. And don't forget that happy thoughts will help you fly! ~Jinjee

Hi Barbara,

This the first time I'm gotten on this website lately and it was so good to see your friend request. I have found being on the raw diet and juicing its hard to get the juice all down when you are concertaiting on trying to get it down without your stomach not exploding but if you get to line and read things like this and continue to drink as you read you have it down without knowing it  ( awsome!! ) I have learned when you have trouble that is to much for you to handle give it over to GOD and ask HIM to take it from your sholders he will!! Look what HE has done for me I shouldn't still be here my cancer is such a deadly form and the drs brought me back from the brink of death when I first got there and now I stopped chemo and doing raw and juicing and I know GOD will get me through this for as long as HE wants me to be here. I hope things start going better for you I have a son with the same problem and all I can do for him is pray for him. I will continue to see you once a month. See you soon.
