JUICE FEAST - STARTS TUESDAY, APRIL 26th!!
So happy to have joined the GO FRESH group here at RFR. However, not as much success as I would of liked. I am finally finished working for the year (I only work for the tax season). Tonight was the company dinner, so that is out of the way. I will…

Just wanted to share something I found amusing that just happened at work this morning. A client came in to the reception desk I was working and asked me "What are you drinking? It looks like swamp water". I am drinking my 2nd 'green juice' of the morning in my mason jar. I simply told him my combination and he then said " wow good for you, you are taking great care of yourself" and then asked me if it tastes like it looks. My co-workers are used to my green drinks and now don't say…

Within an hour of starting Day 1, I have found a new favorite quote from Penni's material. I hope its okay to share it with everyone. Did anyone else get an AHHH moment with this?
"Obstacles are these frightful things that you see when you take your eyes off of your goals"
Henry David Thoreau
It is snowing here in West Virginia, but only better and warmer days ahead. I can't wait.
Wishing everyone a great day!
Hello again....you can email me at oceanmoontigress at netscape dot net
I would write more but I am at work.....very much into doing the 30 days...60 would be great, but have to get 30 under my belt first. I don't think it will be too hard.....just have to get over the mind bumps.....having you here doing the same as me helps alot.
Hey Rawlyssa...love the name. but oh that Happy New Year greeting is making me seasick. lol...there, now I can't see it. My juice feast is going well....this is the easy part....the hard part is later on...when you get tired of making juice. However, I am determined to last. Like you, I want to do the entire month of January. I am seriously committed to doing that....and I am pretty sure I saw where you said that is what you wanted to do as well. Let's hold each other to it, give each other support and encouragement.... What is the longest you have juice feasted for? I did 17 days, and then 12. I didn't stop because I felt bad...I just stopped because..I dunno...tired of the work? This time I am not going to stop. Juice feasting during tax season....now there's something to be said for that. Our firm is not an H&R Block...so not sure how your tax season compares to ours....do you have regular clients who come back year after year? I am sure you do....anyhoo...at our office it seems like every year there is something new to incorporate/accomodate...be it new tax software, or this year...a new firm. We merged with a larger firm, and while I definitely think it's a good thing, it is still new enough we are all adjusting, learning their ways, they are learning our ways...it's all a process. We send out tax organizers to our clients...it's my job to print them all, sort and staple them all, stuff them into envelopes, and get them out in the mail. That is coming up very soon...although we are going on a retreat with our new firm up to the mountains ..supposed to play in the snow.....hah...I don't ski and I don't have snow clothes....but I will have fun. Snow tubing will be lots of fun. But that takes 2 days off of my work week which means getting the organizers out will take a bit longer. But who am I to argue. Gotta go play in the snow! It's a team bonding thing....I knew I liked this new company. So............doing well today...got new coconuts to drink from, fresh ones....no mold...I figured out the old bad ones had a indentation (of the 3 on top) that was soft/brittle, not sound, and these ones look very fresh and all of the holes are firm. The first one was good.........feel like I am rambling on....please do tell me more about you, more about your juice experiences. I was a member of the juice feasting website for a while, but honestly I do just fine on my own. With a little help from my friends.
Hi Rawlyssa.......I've just been reading a bit of your page......you work tax season....I work for accountants...doing admin support...scanning and processing all of those tax returns, papers etc. The season is upon us. I will be busy over the next week or two printing and mailing out tax organizers...dang...forgot to order the envelopes for that! Ai yi yi.
Anyhoo....how was your juice feast last year? I did one a couple of years ago...lasted 17 days...don't know why I quit as I was feeling good.........so just started one.....today is day 3, but will be the first that will be 100% juice...as the other 2 just weren't quite the right days to start. I too drink green drinks, smoothies and juice at work and people look at it and no, they don't want to try it...lol...but it is good...and does make us feel so good!
Happy New Year!!
Yes it is all good! Ready, set, goooooo!!!!!!:O)
