About Me: (at least a couple of sentences; ex: family, interests, hobbies, favorite quote, personal mission statement, etc
I love the feeling of living, maintaining, and supporting a healthy lifestyle! I'm considering dietetics, and would love to use my knowledge gained in countries where proper nutrition doesn't even exist. I love adore cats, every single one of them. I love to run, and pretty much anything that requires breaking a sweat in the name of physical activity.
How did you hear about Raw Food Rehab?
a lady who came into my work:)
What percentage of your current diet would you estimate is raw foods? (this answer many change over time)
How are you hoping this community can best support you in your journey? (moral support, transition advice, recipes, inspiration, fitness tips, etc)
Where I live, I get hardly any support. I have gotten a few family members to go vegetarian, but for the most part, people look at me like im nuts! I found out about the site through a lady I met at the grocery store I work at. In the (almost) two years I have been vegetarian (just started vegan), she has been the most encouraging person I have met!

Your personality seems to fit the "raw food" lifestyle. Fresh, full of light and love, willing to do things her own way, and radiating positive energy. That is why I thought you would like Dara Dubinet, as she is like that too!
My friends wanted nothing to do with eating a vegetarian or vegan diet for a couple of years, then recently 3 of them were very interested in "Raw Foods". I was shocked! To me it is the extreme version of vegan, but to them it is an exciting new way of looking at food. Perhaps the focus, with raw, is on all the new types of food to add, and less on what to leave behind? They like words like "superfoods", "cleansing", "enzymes", "un-cooking", "green smoothies", and "juicing".
I felt badly that I made my son wait for me, but he was happy to raid the tortilla chip bag while he watched me talk to you! My family eats all vegan and increasingly more "raw", but they love their vegan junk food!
Wow Angela! I just read your profile and was deeply touched that you felt I was encouraging to you! You are a beautiful bright light, and I loved meeting you! I am so glad you asked if I was vegetarian!
Hi Angela! Isn't this "mansion" of information and support fabulous? So much to explore, I love it!
I hope you enjoy all the salads, smoothies, fresh fruit, soaked nuts and seeds, and the hundreds of raw recipes you can make from these! I love how our bodies begin to guide us as we pay attention to how we feel after each meal.
