Good morning all it is day 4 of 30. I spent the last 3 days switching over to raw eating. 85 % raw fruits & veggies. I want to start a green smoothie cleanse today. I mostly like spinach and kale. My normal smoothie is2 cups of spinach1 frozen banana1 cup of strawberries1 steviaI repeat this about 4 times a day just changing the type of berries. I am not sure if this is enough nutrition. When I really stop to ponder eating for me is more social & emotional then nutritional. I think we are socialized to use food as expression and comfort. When we are happy we eat, sad we eat, to celebrate accomplishment ...and so on. When I am about to eat something today I am going to stop and consider it's nutritional value. I got an email that someone joined "Real Food" that prompted me to log on. Oh it's the "Raw" food sight, I said. I have not logged on in a while. Then I looked at the date of my last post ...2010?! Really?! I started to log off in SHAME! BUT NO! I am going to release myself from shame, admit that the struggle is real, and start New!!!

I am learning so much about myself as I pursue a raw life style. As I try to cleanse my boby I find that my soul and my mind can use a good detox too.
