I am right at the beginning of the journey or moving from a meat% processed foods diet to a raw began lifestyle.
I am opting for the slow and steady approach, by changing one thing every month, and hoping to find help, support and answers on here throughout the year! wish me luck!

A Change A Month- update

So as I have read that it only takes 28 days to make an unbreakable habit, my new years resolution was to make 1 simlpe change every month to transition towards a healthier lifestyle, I had only just discovered raw foods, and had had a small epiphany. 

So i posted on here, and got a ton of amazing ideas for each months change- and thought I would let you know how I am getting on :)

So the first months change was green smoothies. I cannot explain how much of a difference…

So I have been (very) slowly going raw since the new year. I currently drink smoothies every morning, have started yoga, and over the last 3 months have stopped eating meat and dairy (fish is still to come, but small steps!)

My family are pretty accepting of it, (im currently back at home, like many graduates in the UK) They could cope with the smoothies and vegetarian,  but now I am buying milk alternatives they are starting to look at me like im a bit…

So I have recently found raw, and am slowly moving from a meat and processed food diet, to a veggie, vegan, and eventually % raw diet. 

To achieve this i have been taking the slow and steady approach of making one simple change to my diet and lifestyle each month. I have read that it takes 20something days to make an unbreakable habit!

January: I started drinking green smoothies.

So a few months ago i discovered raw, and for my new years resolution decided to change 1 simple thing about my health every month with the aim that I will be full vegan and a % raw by the end of the year. Im definitely a slow and steady kind of person, and also intending to move to Asia in June, so don’t want to create habits that are not transferable to a different country!
