Inspired by a recipe from my friend Chadd ; )

1/2 - 1 cup pinenuts (I used about a cup)
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2-3 Tablespoons Nama Shoyu
1 teaspoon Turmeric
3 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 lemon (juice only)
2 - Tablespoons Nutritional Yeast
2 pinches white pepper
1 generous pinch sea salt
cayenne, to your liking
1 head of Cauliflower

Blend all ingredients, except the cauliflower, in a food processor or blender. Break the cauliflower in to bite sized pieces, coat with the dressing, making sure to cover each piece thoroughly.

Dehydrate at 115 degrees for 2 hours or longer, depending upon your preference.

This is so delicious.....I am obsessed w/ this recipe now!

This is seriously delicious!  My batch is now in the dehydrator, after having a nice portion of it before it went in.  I am now wondering why even bother dehydrating it.  It is so good raw.  Can't wait to see what the rest of the family thinks of it!  Thanks for the great recipe.

I do also wonder if another nut can be replaced for the pine nuts.  I happened to just have some leftover pine nuts in the refrigerator, but would rather use something else next time.

Penni - Pine nuts have gone up to $60 a pound here!

What other nuts would work in this recipe?

Oh my, no doubt this is one of the BEST cauliflower recipes ever! I agree with Penni, before heating this is an awesome dressing, after heating reminds me of cauliflower augratin.
