Like, seriously - WOW - what a wonderful story of 'when the student is ready, the master appears' I love that your coach at the gym didn't hold back and opened the door of total health and well-being through raw - so awesome and you are a delight!

I love your comment: "I many not be THERE but I can go hard HERE"

it's true - we are all in our own places and can never be any place else but HERE. NOW. I had the exact same experience at the gym last week as you described: I realized this woman was running hard on the treadmill as I was walking and, once I realized that I couldn't do that hard of a run I was able to adjust and say "yeah, but I can do a little running" cause, honestly, it looked like she was having fun! So I did! It wasn't perfect, or pretty, but, yeah, it was kinda fun! I enjoyed the trying!!! ALL ANY OF US HAS TO DO IS TRY!

Blessings on you! I loved your story and take encouragement from it. Next time I'm on the treadmill, I'm gonna try a little longer to hold that running pace and I'll be thinking of you!

Hi Guys! Sorry I took so long to respond. Our internet was out! Ok SO here is my story.

When I entered the gym Oct-Nov 2011 I was a mess, 334lbs, pre-hypertensive, no insurance and I was sick of it (the picture on the left IS the first day at the gym). There was a trainer who was offering  a 90 day body challenge for 25 dollars a month. I couldn't pass that up! So I started. I had knee braces on both knees and I walked on the treadmill, watching all the fit people. I wanted to be them. SO I said I may not be be THERE but I can go hard HERE. SO Id walk at 3.0 for a few mins and run at 4.0 for a few seconds. Back and forth till I got better. The first 30 lbs was gone by December. My trainer said to me one day that because I was losing weight I need to cleanse the toxins that those fat cells had released into my body. GREAT, I said, what pill should I take!? He said I want you to go RAW. HUH?? Like RAW meat? He said today is Weds. you will start RAW Monday. Figure it out! Lol So I did. I started with a juicer and Jennifer Cornbleets RAW for 1 or 2 People. I got HOOKED! By March I was down 50lbs and I FELT great! My Gym mates even threw me a RAW celebration party! I asked my friends on FB to join me for 30 days RAW and they did! I even hosted FAT SICK AND NEARLY DEAD  as well as Forks over Knives. Now did I eat cooked food every now and again? Yep. Im a cheese-a-holic. But I switched to RAW cheese ( now I am trying to let go completely...process). I think that Summer I lost NOTHING but my body was changing rapidly. This is when I began to understand how unreliable the scale is. I was building Muscle rapidly and it was SHAPING my body. By Fall it dropped and to 75lbs then to 85lbs.  I wanted sooo badly to be at 100lbs by my anniversary date. But again the scale would not moved. THIS TIME I would get a lesson in Inflammation (i.e. there are certain foods that we are allergic to causing our white blood cells to launch an attack and BOOM inflammation and NO weight loss) How did I figure it out? Well the beginning of this year I did a juice fast. I lost 20lbs in less then two weeks. Is that normal? Heck no! Why? Cause what ever I was eating before THAT FAST I was allergic to. SO NOW I am 105lbs down and my next step will be to get an allergy test ! :-)

I'd LOVE to know how you did this. I gained weight this week, AND I'm doing the RESET!!!! (((Frustrated)))
