I just eat as clean as I can to get as healthy as I can

Kathleen, have you suffered a stroke?

No, I did have something called a 'near stroke'

Do you mind sharing your story, Kathleen? Did you have a TIA or something else?

I had a stroke over a month ago (not TIA), but I currently have a small blood clot in my left carotid artery that is not fully blocking anything. ...but it still may be impacting my functioning. (Hard to separate wheat that vs. stroke event caused).

Anyway, the only things I've really changed is adding tons and tons of beet juice daily. And, I now eat cooked fish (I was previously a vegetarian). I also stay away from all foods that are high in vit k (green leafy foods).

Did you find any particular foods helpful for you? Or any other lifestyle changes etc.?

That's doesn't sound good. I just went to the ER because I had a throbbing headache and I never have  headache. My blood pressure was way over 200/100 and was kept in the hospital for 2 days and was told I has a 'near stroke'; I don't know what that means. I too am vegetarian but was a junk food  vegetarian. I've gotten the junk out of my diet 'mostly'  and have been trying to follow Dr. Fuhrman's ETL program

I've not heard of Dr. Fuhrman's ETL program. I will go look that up.
